10 Land Cycle of the Odyssey Filters. EDIT: So whats with the backstory in Avacyn? Helvault opens, crap gets crazy, and it goes back to being a perfect plane? How does taking out DFC and Flashback play into that __________________ -Schmitty 97th in Refs [262] on MOTL (1 behind Phyrexian Angel) 4th in Refs [262] in OH-IO (3 behind Bmadsen) 2nd in Posts [7187] in OH-IO (only 1000 behind Val) “If Brad Stevens is the future of coaching in college basketball, the sport is in a good place.” - Rick Pitino

People like options, limiting options therefor is seen as bad, hence the statement he made. I'd prefer nonbasic hate in the line of Price of Progress myself, you can make your 4c decks, but at a cost. 10 Land Cycle of the Odyssey Filters, only if they are uncommon, those lands sucked so bad. The Shadowmoor/Eventide ones were SO much better in every possible way. Though thinking about it more and more, I'm hoping for a M13 with zero rare duals, just a City of Brass variant at Rare and some dual lands at uncommon, and there are plenty of preexisting cycles to choose from, or they could make a new uncommon cycle. Then again I also hope we get Gold in core sets starting with M13, figuring some Uncommon Allied color, and rare enemy color stuff. Would love to see Legends back, make them all reprints or new legends based off old characters, 1-2 per color would be nice. Just loved M10 for being so different, then M11 was still very different, with M12 just being a rehash of the last two, different is nice, and I hope they continue the trend of Fresh and Exciting core sets.....and not more of M12, which was the only one of the three M Sets I didn't buy. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. Price of Progress seems like it would be to much hate on the diversity of more than 1 or 2 color decks. I see We on the crack reprinting Ruination into the core set before Price of Progress. Just my thoughts. __________________ Motl member since November 1, 2000Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! 38th in refs on Motl! - 4 behind whocares First in refs in state of Arizona! TBH, was first Nonbasic hate to pop into my head, and I really do wish to see a non premium deck foil version, would love some Korean Foil or Russian Foils. Ruination I think would be amazing as well though, maybe something like Primal Order, 2GG, Enchantment, At the beginning of each player's upkeep, Primal Order deals damage to that player equal to the number of nonbasic lands he or she controls. That could be fun to. If we do get rare duals, I want uncommon man lands *Nods* __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

I like the Mirage fetch idea @ uncommon. At the same time though, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they brought back the shocklands. I don't think they're done pushing Modern, so this seems like a fairly natural choice now that the Zen fetches have rotated out of Standard.

Back to Basics FTW! Hell, I'd settle for that, even as a mythic rare! Primal Order was in a core set, prolly on the no reprint policy or something, thus it won't make it into M13. But alas, ld not in we on the crack's agenda for a set, thus stone rain now costs like 5 mana. __________________ Motl member since November 1, 2000Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! 38th in refs on Motl! - 4 behind whocares First in refs in state of Arizona! Yea, I'm all for Back to Basics, had it in a Core Set I built for a competition...though that core set pushed a lot. Had Sneak Attack, Show and Tell, and Defense of the Heart as Mythics, and lots of power common/uncommons. Also Primal Order is a go for reprint

Primal Order is basically 2GG: You Win against certain color combinations. Why would WOTC want to print something like that? It would be about as dumb as their printing Karma in 8th edition.

Avacyn is not a PW, unless WoTC decides to **** on the story.....again. She was created by Sorin, and therefor can have no spark of her own. Far for likely we see Nissa, seeing how she was chasing Sorin and all. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

Tarmogoyf and shock lands reprint would not be unreasonable.

Correction, in a set, fair game for Judge Promo, anyone expecting this in a core set or expansion set is ....well I'll end it here. __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

I can see a possible cycle reprinted in M13 like the command cycle, cryptic, profane, primal etc.. or another cycle from one of the modern legal sets.

Wizards site, or a mtg site I signed up for through facebook, wants 10k clicks or something & when they do reach it, they will preview the card: Avacyn, Angel of Hope. __________________ Motl member since November 1, 2000Your 2008 and 2010 Motl Siskel & Ebert award winner! 38th in refs on Motl! - 4 behind whocares First in refs in state of Arizona! Karn.... But i'm not saying anything about Avacyn, i don't know the story at all.
edit; And as far as DFC and flashback go, i was sure i heard from a reliable source that neither would be around in Avacyn Restored. Cannot remember where though. Am drunk.

You mean this one? This card is amazing. I think everyone will want her for an EDH general. __________________ |My Angels~My P9 l""|"\__, |~~My #1 Angel~~l'_|'_|_|) |(@)(@)""***|(@)(@)**|(@)
