What can I say... for some people this is a fun aspect of MTG. I can't fault a dude for that. As long as you're havin' fun then, to me, that's all that really matters.

Wonder how successful an honest repack auction would be:
"I guarantee you'll get back 80% of the value on what you spend. You'll have fun opening the packs of stuff I couldn't sell elsewhere!"

If you took the time to actually stack the repacks in such a way as to give a completely accurate odds/value statement, where some small percentage of packs payout 200-300% of the cost, and the worst of them (the bulk of them obviously) were 75-80% I'd probably buy a couple.
