So I just purchased 10 summer magic islands and was curious to the total percentage of them i owned and it got me to thinking about this.

Hi all I was curious as to the total amount of summer magic cards ever printed. I have done some research and came up with these guesses but would love any input from people who know more than me. Thanks in advance guys. So I heard only 40 boxes came out so 1440 packs, 21,600 cards. and in trying to figure how many of each rare, unc, and common their were printed i went by this math. revised had 121 rares, 95 unc, 75 common and 15 lands. so assuming average distribution its about 12 rares each, 45 unc each, and 176 commons each. that was with me assuming the lands were thrown in as commons, not sure if that is accurate. no starter boxes released i dont believe so i think the lands all came from these 1440 packs. thanks much for any help on this guys.

No one knows anything about Summer Magic numbers, and anyone who claims to have concrete numbers or even a remotely accurate guess is most likely making it up.

Bingo. There may have been concrete numbers in terms of how many boxes shipped out from WotC, but it's complete speculation in regards to how many retailers shipped the product back vs. how much product stayed on the shelves.

Other than it's rare no one really knows whats out there, also some people may have been sitting on what they have had so long, it's never been on the market for people to know it's out there. Only seen one person sell alot of these at once and that was a member hear recently on ebay.

The default count for summer is: more common than most people think.

I'm curious if anybody here actually tried to put a full set of Summer magic together?
