I'm really trying to get a hold of a lot of older cards, even power, but eBay is hard for me to navigate - I never know what's real, what's not, and I'm not quite up to date on pricing. Any of you good at finding the deals? Spending my money? I'd be willing to pay a small premium for someone who can find me some good deals... if there's any interest let me know. I'm looking to put down about $1000 (I have a buy list right now in the forums) and I'd be willing to pay someone $50 if they can help me track it all down. Let me know?

$50 is hardly worth the time and effort.. © __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

I dunno, a lot of people are unemployed and are wasting their lives away at the computer playing games, etc. $50 to search around for your hobby doesn't seem crazy to track down cards. Maybe you're just not broke enough

still not worth the effort nor potential liability for a mere $50© __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

It's sad, your signature quotes are so good but you're so annoying overall. If anyone is interested in a liability free opportunity, do let me know. No need for you and I to continue the banter - if you're not interested that's good enough.

Besides his obvious negative qualities, I don't think anyone would do it for a paltry $50 especially knowing you were banned for ripping over on MTGS. http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=90250 http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=2339690&postcount=300

Ya, divorce sucks :/ He got his money in the end. Everyone was taken care of. You are welcome to contact Annorax directly if you need further information. We tried to get this all lifted last year but unfortunately the community doesn't care about the details or the excuses, which is fine.

you want to spend 1000 and pay 50 for the services. a paltry 5% really isn't worth it to track down and ensure that what you are getting is quality/real. try the vicinity of about 15% and we could talk.btw, im not employed. 150 isnt even a days wage for me.

I don't understand why people would open a thread to humiliate themselves. Life must not be tough enough.__________________ MOTL Fantasy NBA 2010 ChampionYou know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocketship underpants don't help.

I was genuinely looking for some help, if the price isn't good then so be it, but if I were to pay a few hundred dollars for someone to help me on a $1,000 purchase then I'm paying 20-30% to help me find the best deal which I must assume would be the same amount I'd pay if I just did it myself.I certainly didn't want any drama such as this. Nevermind.

Wow MOTL, I dont think this is as unreasonable as we seem to be making it seem. Fifty bucks for what... an hour's worth of work? It doesn't matter the percentage. Fifty bucks for an hour seems fine. Now the personal liability issues, that's where it gets a little awkward.

you lack.. perspective http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/092427.html you REALLY think he'd post this here, if it's doable within a hr? © __________________ Since it is obviously inconceivable that all religions can be right, the most reasonable conclusion is that they are all wrong. -Christopher HitchensReligion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. -Seneca the Younger

It's not a bad list. I have all of it, I think, but at those prices, meh, I'll just keep them.

Depends on the full extent of his wants and how much he's willing to pay. He did say "even power." I could just take the $1000 and go negotiate with someone I knew had p9 and that I trusted not to sell fakes and pick up a few pieces within 30 minutes. Obviously the small $10 wants are harder. But then, those cards don't carry the risk of fakes that he indicated concern with in his original post, which means we don't even know if those cards on his buylist are representative of those that he'd be asking the person to source. Prices honestly aren't terrible (they're a little low on some), these cards are low supply low demand. Auctions end for below the offered price while BINs sell for above the offered price, so it comes down to whether you feel like selling somewhere in the middle.
