Haha, I remember that. [QUOTE]Originally posted by CubFan81: The Pearl and Timetwister were Collector's Edition so maybe $30 and $20 in buylist prices for NM. I think you're a little low on your pricing. The Mox is selling for about $50 and the Twister is averaging about $35.

Well, I believe he had a desk and actual cards were just taped onto the side/front of it sort of at a skewed angle (think 80's style). I recall there being about 3-4 of them, maybe a couple more. That tripped me out when I first saw that back in the day! I don't remember any posters... Edit: I google images searched but could find NOTHING.

I remember they were taped to his desk, I thought they were like scanned cards that were printed out. Somebody has to have the dvd set and a spare weekend...

did anyone else notice that the lotus he sold had quite a bit of whitening on it and that it seemed to be moderately played condition. even star city (our favorite place to rag on) will buy a new unlimited lotus for $1000 and I am sure he would have gotten at least $900 on the collection. shame on the dishonest store, but it was also surprising that darell did not check values such as ebay first before negotiating on the price of cards.

Isn't the point moot since the whole thing was a set up?

[offtopic] Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, American Restoration and American Pickers are about the only TV shows I watch for fun. The latter three mostly as you get to see some interesting items sometimes and their history, which I like. Storage Wars rules because of Brandi. She's hot.Chumlee would totally rock her socks off.[/offtopic] Haven't seen the episode yet, but I'm sure it will be aired soon. I saw the one where Brandi and Jarrod got that case of comic action figures and such. Nice. __________________ /Thunder in the wind/No rain/Peace mourns its passing/"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss
