Also: Why is it that nowadays both the buyside and sellside prices are better on eBay? This place used to be awesome for buying, but now everything is higher to buy and lower to sell. Gripe Gripe Gripe.

It doesn't seem that bad. Bidding and waiting is kind of annoying when i want something.

Buy it nows are lower on ebay most of the time. Plus you can pay with a CC and you don't have to pay the seller's paypal fees.

New special product, Modern Masters, reprinting cards for Modern (not standard legal). 1st confirmed reprint Tarmoygof, new art.

More people playing, Modern Master rare/mythics and maybe even uncommons wont be cheap at 6.99 a pack and short printed.

I figured it would be a limited release thing so it probably would't reduce the price much at all. I mean FTV didn't really lower the majority of any of those cards. Guess we'd need to know how much product is printed.

The new art is meh. i like the old art better.

Look for foils to take a big hit. Foil Goyf will no longer be 225-250, probably closer to 100.

I agree with that. Regulars will drop a little, but foils that are more than 2 times a regular version are going to drop a lot. There will be one foil per pack, so the mythic foils should be easier to hit. How easy will determine how far the foil will fall.

Since this set will be English only, how will this set affect the value of the foreign versions of the cards that are reprinted?

Also, what's the best way to document the valuable cards that I own for insurance purposes? Will a written list work, or are pics/video the better option?

That and the same people who cry like babies about how WoTC should print their precious eternal staples so they can maybe get them. They'll still complain because of something stupid. Goyf is a MYTHIC? Gaw, damn Wizards, can't you just send me a set of free ones? I've made multiple posts on MTG Salvation about how I hate that they're so expensive. Don't you read them? See pages 23,34,58,69, and 72 of some random thread with a bunch of people ranting.

Yep, I buy more on ebay now than on motl...

Pretty sad they didnt choose to print goyf as rare.

Agree, can't call it a ccg if we keep reprinting everything, I'm for targeted reprints but now every year we have multiple reprint sets between duel decks, commander decks,FTV, this now, oh and base sets, and regualr expansions usually have a few to. It's getting to be too much if you want it to be a ccg instead of just a cg, if every card is easily availible, it's no longer collectable besides really old cards on the reserved list(if that stays).

I disagree. If you are a collector now you'll have to have both the old version of the card and the new one. For example if you collect foil cards now you'll be able to get the old Foil Tarmagoyf a bit cheaper but you'll still have to get the new one so, if you want to have both they will surely cost you more then if you had to collect only one (the old one).
