It's a deck, tier one is questionable.

Jce 4.0 does not bode well for JTMS coming off the banlist in modern. The reason SFM and ancestral vision are likely to come off the banlist is for a couple of reasons.1. True control isn't really a factor in competitive modern metas. The closest we have to control lists are Teachings.dec and the various delver tempo lists, both of which are underperformers right now. The U/W resto angel deck did well at PT RTR, but adding SFM is a small enough addition to the deck to warrant testing. More importantly, SFM enables a couple different non-blue tempo lists, similar to Dead Guy Ale in legacy, or Bant and Naya midrange goodstuff.decs. SFM is actually one of the safest bets in terms of unbannings, because R&D already took care of the problem, which was jitte. 2. Ancestral Vision is trickier, but not because of it's inclusion in control. The bigger worry is that delver lists could drop 2 delvers and have a vision on the way by turn 2, which is not a good spot for opposing decks to face. Vision might see unbanning if the tempo AND control lists continue to suck, or R&D might see fight to print something in a newer set that addresses the problem.

We're talking speculation here, so hmmm...1. Modern will absolutely explode in popularity/SCG bubbling. Because of this, some seriously weird cards are gonna spike like crazy. 2. You will start to see some sort of redemption cards in new product. (say for a certain promo foil, complete set or what-not) 3. Cards you never-ever-ever thought would be reprinted, will be. (Juzamn Djinn in some weird stand-alone anyone?) 4. Fully functional Dual Lands. I bet they've wanted to get this over with for years now! 5. A packet of soy sauce in every booster! 6. Foil(s) in every pack. 7. Boosters that have like 2 packs worth in one. (30-ish cards) 8. Artist-signed cards in boosters at some point. (probably not, but maybe... might have been a good idea like 10-15 years ago) 9. Some sort of new "super foiling" like with 24k gold or something? (not a joke, seriously) Maybe holographics? 10. Serial numbered cards. Maybe this would have something to do with those "super-foils" I was talking about? Perhaps something like 1:1, 1:100, 1:1000, 1:10000 etc. they would be stamped/emmbosed with the numbers. Geared more towards rarity collectors. Just some ideas I thought I'd throw out there. Am I gonna be right? Who the hell knows!? But I do think that at least 1-3 of these ideas will actually occur. My .02 I had fun thinkin' about it too =)

Modern season. Remember when extended was a season cards would spike during the season and come back down. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 2nd in posts in Canada 10th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

That, plus shocks being reprinted drives down shock prices while also increasing shock demand ("hey! I can actually afford a set of steam vents now!"), and if you're running shocks in a deck you really want to be running fetches as well. But fetch supply isn't increasing at all, demand spikes, price goes up.

Wont happen, I bet. 1:100, see Splendid Genesis, value 5-7k $.
This would become some kind of lottery. 1:1, this would be 25k?+ IF they do, i could imagine 1:1000 cards value ~ 1500-2000$

I think you're joking but I cannot tell. If they do that, it'll either be on unplayable cards or basic lands or tokens so that many people can still afford competitive decks.

Yeah, the closest thing they've done like this was the helvault tokens, which did not go over well with the playerbase once they found out that essentially some stores got "god vaults" while others were stuck with chaff.

Seems like it would be "ultrarare" arts of various likely top constructed playables. EDIT sorry, meant alternate art.
