Yak has this at draw draw because I can't play Sorin without risking it. Turn 8 on play 8 Lands v 8 Lands M I play Sorin, 4 lands tapped v 8 lands H Lab Manic goes for it 4 v 5, I syncopate for 1...ok this is DD. 2. dfitzg88 WW Pillar of Flame Liliana of the Veil Invisible Stalker 3. bushe DD laboratory maniac izzet charm memory's journey On play I can play Sorin turn 4, but he can charm it. If he does he can't win. I can wait till turn 6 to Sorin, if he does charm it I pay 2 otherwise I hold up mana to abrupt decay in response to izzet charm on his turn. He must play lab maniac on his turn or I will win. I plus one Sorin and then hold mana up for syncopate and abrupt decay, if he izzets on my turn I abrupt decay in response, leaving 5 mana up. I can just abrupt decay it if he plays it. So we wait...turn 10 he can play pack rats and I have to abrupt decay it and ... blah LL 5. junichi WL Mind Rot Liliana of the Veil Vraska the Unseen On the play I hold syncopate mana for mind rot till turn 4, then I play Sorin +1 get a dude. He has chance on his turn 4 to either play mind rot (losing both of my cards) or liliana of the veil. Here's how both play out Mind rot M Turn 5 make a dude two dudes swing 1 H 19 H He plays Vraska or Lili, assume Vraska -3 on Sorin. If Lilli -2 sac creature, 1 dude M If V swing V two Vraska dead. He can play Lilli but I win with one creature after he makes me sac one of them and I kill Lilli. If L +1 sorin, swing Lilli 1 she's dead if he plus one'd Lilli to discard he would remove Vraska from his hand which means I win. Liliana Make me sac a dude as he can't discard Vraska, I continue to beat face with lots of dudes. I can abrupt decay Lilli at this point but I probably hold up syncopate mana to stop vraska if he then plays mind rot I abrupt decay in response If he chooses not to play his dudes and not mind rot me I can syncopate when needed and abrupt decay. Haven't super thought this out but my planeswalker and disruption gives me the edge I think on play and draw. On draw he must play mind rot so I have to sync it. I play Sorin turn 4 make dude he plays Lilli and I win, he must play Vraska his turn 5 and minus 3 so that he kills Sorin. I have one dude and he can kill it with Lilli...loss on draw. 6. Is there a draw phase and are we compelled to draw a card? * You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing). * You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card. * Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC!

Was thinking you got #10 wrong but you are right, duress takes charm, then turn 3 you force him to counter your maniac and can kill his with your charm.

I think I've figured it out though: the best move you can possibly make is to basically trade Vraska for the Detention Sphere; Vraska will eventually die no matter what as my engine holds off the tusk with the Haunt token and brings her down by 1 every time the Misthollow Griffin attacks her. Then my engine and thragtusk stare at each other forever if you use Abrupt Decay on the moorland haunt token that's still around after Vraska goes away; otherwise I slowly kill you with the 1/1 while the Griffin and the Tusk stare at each other. __________________ It is a known fact that more Americans watch the television than any other appliance.
