You play a ton of cantrips and mana generating spells with a Pyromancer's Ascension in play. Eventually, your cantrips will copy, getting you extra mana and cards, which you use to fuel a huge Grapeshot to the dome.Is Ponder banned in Modern? Preordain? Those cards should be 4-ofs, easily. I would try running Reforge the Soul as a 1-of. I also am quite fond of the Splinter Twin combo in the sideboard.

http://www.twitch.tv/samuelhblackcheck out his modern videos. He has a few decks he runs so you might have to skip a bit, but overall its somewhat informative if you know whats going on and can be entertaining.

You want to get an active Pyromancer's Ascension, and if not you just need to chain a lot of rituals into Past in Flames into Grapeshot.

Play spells like Manamorphose, Seething Song, and other cantrip cards with a creature like Goblin Electromancer out. Play a massive Epic Expirement or have an active Pyromancer's Ascension...cast Grapeshot, Empty the Warrens(sometimes) w Goblin Bushwacker kicked. The link provided above is a really good source to watch.

Yea, but he's built a LOT of high performing decks and even beat Gerry T/Brian Kibler once!
