I had a couple of hours to kill after work and headed over to the closest card shop. I spent maybe half an hour looking through their random $0.50 a card bin and staring at the expensive ones in their case. I've been considering a booster box of RtR, but have had a tough time bringing myself to spend $100 when I don't even play the game. I wound up buying four packs for the hell of it.... and a foot-long 'mystery box' for $6. I assumed it would be a mix of the last few sets with some random other cards thrown in, but it turned out to be filled with nothing but RtR commons and uncommons. Sweet. Now I can work toward completing a set and still have stuff to trade for other cheap cards without dropping a bunch of money.

commons sell extremely well at our shop to casuals. The regulars just drop all their draft junk in a bin and the store fills it w/ crap from collections. There are some small white boxes and you fill a box for $5. IF you bring it to the counter loosely filled or without cards piled on top, he'll make you go get more, heh.
