Ive noticed a lot of different cards have shot up in price recently. Jace, TMS went from 60-100. Geist of saint traft went from 20-40. All zendikar fetches went up. How long do you guys think it will be before the prices go back down? Im wondering if i should keep buying cards or just hold off for a while. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

JMTS and Fetches have about a 0.0000001% chance of ever dropping by any significant amount.

Geist will drop some on rotation, dont see that holding though, as it doesn't see much T2 play meaning it's price is based on Modern/Legacy.

As for JMTS if you didnt buy when he was 40, then 60, have fun paying 100+ as he won't do anything but go up up up..

Zendikar fetches are going to get reprinted one day, so I'm sure that they'll go back down, it's just that they're not being reprinted soon enough to keep the price down.

How long, exactly, have "people been saying" that? Up until the ZEN fetches were printed? Immediately after? I haven't heard ANYONE talk about ONS fetches seeing reprint until after the modern format was created, and none of those people have said that they are due for a reprint until after shocks are back out of standard.

With that said, ONS fetch prices are still very safe, barring some shenanigans with premium products like commander or duel deck printings.

It's still disappointing to see the price of BUG Control and BUG tempo lists surpass $3k.

You must be new then, cause people have been saying that since before shocks even existed.

You can't reason with that guy so don't try...

Even if they get reprinted, the demand, as the game goes, will most likely out pace the supply, so prices will recover.
