I have a gift card to target and was wondering if I should get innistrad or wait wait for gatecrash. I wound be playing standard much so I would like ones with eternal value which I know innistrad has in a few cards. Any suggestions? or maybe other sets I should get that are standard since thats what target has?

I would suggest RtR alot of standard and eternal staples.

GTC isn't looking very impressive right now aside from the shocks. Rtr and innistrad look like the best options right now.

Any of the 3 would be a good choice. Gatecrash would be best to have trade stuff that more people would want but RTR looks to have the best overall value and Innistrad has the 5 lands along with Olivia, Geist, Snapcaster, Liliana, and Garruk.

I've heard multiple people say that m13 has the most value pack wise than any other standard set. None the less I'd get RtR and hope for shamans and shocks or you could pick up the izzet vs golgari DD. that thing is loaded with value and target seems to have plenty. Bottom line I'd stay away from inistrad packs unless you use them to draft.

RtR or Gatecrash. You could wait for Gatecrash, flip your rares for cash, and buy the ones you need when all their prices fall. As far as M13 having the most value per box... it CAN, but isn't likely. You'd have to be at least a little lucky, because for every Liliana, Jace MA, Thrag, Sublime, or Thundermaw, there's several Wit's Ends, Battle of Wit's, Diabolic Revelations, Hamletback Goliaths, etc etc. I've opened 3 boxes of each (1 at release, other 2 in the months after) and I've gained value from every box of RtR. I gained value from one box of M13 (the one on release day), came only a few bucks ahead on another, and lost about 30 bucks on the last.
