So I have the ability to get either gatecrash, innistrad, RTR, or maybe spanish worldwake. Which one should I do? I can get the gatecrash box for 101 w/free shipping. I want to go gatecrash but I don't know if there is enough value there to even break evenedit- gatecrash, inn, and RTR are 100 and the spanish world wake was 220-230

Well if they are all equal in price i'd do Worldwake as you could resell that for more than 101.However, I'm guessing Worldwake is quite a bit more so I'd do Gatecrash because the new sets are fun to draft & pack wars with. Plus if you have a fast enough turn around you should be able to grab what you want and get a lot of value out of it as well.

I'd go WWK, a shot at getting a spanish foil jace would be too tempting.

QFT. All depends on the price of that box. Hoenstly, I wouldn't do Gatecrash. Doesn't look like that good of a set. __________________ My 2008 Nationals MOTL's Pro-Tour Winner 2007-2009 Tower Magic FacebookhilikuS: Also, as much as MAB's list has become the list on the T/A Forum, I do miss Slinga's.

So far I feel like the uncommons are the best part of this set so far (and the shocks of course) but I also feel like we don't know what the full extent of the set can be yet

Worldwake probably has the most value, especially since you're looking at a foreign one. Though you're right, Gatecrash might be worth it. The set isn't fully spoiled yet and it isn't out. You can't really say you're 100% sure that it's not worth it. Things change after release. But spanish foils... I'd go for some spanish foils...__________________ ლ(ಠ益ಠლ This signature belongs to fedorables. Please return if found.

Pretty much all depends on if you can get all those for the same price. If not, what price can you get each respective box for? $100 boxes of WW, do it. But, if your WW is will cost you 200~ it's a totally different question.

Spanish? None of them. Portuguese, on the other hand...

I would go with gatecrash. There's always a ridiculous hype for new cards (so the prices are high) on the first week or two __________________ ''Jesus never existed.... I never had a son.''-Eric Maltais.

Out of the 3 expansions that sell for 100 each, go for Gatecrash. There will be a huge demand for these cards. Remember when RtR came out? Jace was at $50, look at it now. Just get Gatecrash, keep everything that you need and sell the rest.

Well then that just begs the question - why buy a box if you are only going after charms and shocks? Cheaper by far to buy whatever shocks you need for your deck, since almost every mythic so far is EDH or chaff.

Because you can turn around and sell what you don't need at some of the highest prices most of those cards will ever see, and can likely turn a profit or, at the very least, come close to breaking even. I did that with my first box of RtR. Turned a $30 profit on top of keeping 2 Temple Gardens (1 foil), 3 Hallowed Fountain, a Blood Crypt, and a Jace. Granted, it took a little work and a ton of luck, but hey, there's a point to buying a box just for a couple cards if you think you can make some extra cash. Though its still a decent gamble. Not saying it doesn't come with a hefty risk of losing some money. __________________ ლ(ಠ益ಠლ This signature belongs to fedorables. Please return if found.
