Should I try to get smaller stuff out and splash some white or possibly stick to just red green. I know my pool will have a lot to do with it but I dont know a lot about the types of decks I will see. What mechanics and color combination does red green match up poorly with. Thanks in advance!
Honestly looking at the cards you'll be fine if you open up decent Simic *or* Boros cards. Both are the fastest guilds in the format.

I'm most likely going Boros. While I'm iffy on triggering Battalion in sealed, the available removal and splash potential with G or B just seems stronger.I was really hoping Simic would look better for sealed, but I really think it's going to rely too heavily on what removal you get to splash out of B or R. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. I have decided that I will go Simic. I like the speed and evolve as well as the combat tricks (Bioshift-(a common ), Biomass Mutation, Simic Charm) as well as Unexpected Results, Urban Revolution. I like Zameck Guildmage, Gyre Sage, Simic Fluxmage. If I play a 2nd, probably go Boros. ~MM __________________ Blah, blah, blah werewolf. Smackity-smack not a werewolf. Suspicious of this fruit loop. I went with Boros and opened the best pool I have ever opened. 5-0!

Care to provide some links? I have found no definitive descriptions yet that Boros has dominated. --Evil __________________ I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds. Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.

3-1 with boros. Only loss was to Gruul, and was only because Act of Treason two turns in a row kinda beats me with my own creatures.Pulled Aurelia and two Firemane Avengers. Battalion is very easy to trigger in sealed unless you open a terrible pool. Boros has so many decent 2-3 drops.

Went 3-1 with Orzhov. Pulling the counsel sure helped out. Thanks, Jazaray

I went with orzov, and wasn't disappointed. Need to have extorters out. Orzov and boros dominated, while dimir was a bust. Only lost once, to the same deck as mine. Easy wins against both dimir's I faced. Against one of the dimirs, finished both duels with over 20 life. Biggest card for me was holy mantle.

Orzhov and Boros seemed to be the most successful here.

Did anyone play with five-alarm fire? Please tell me it's not garabage, I can't get my money back anymore.

Went 4-1to with Boros. I lost to another Boros deck. Most rounds I dominated in less then 10 minutes. Orzhov was a tough matchup. Extort is great at stalling out the for them to drop a bomb. Boros Reckoner and Pit Fight is total mealtdown for most decks and I pulled 2 each. A few games I rode a Truefire Paladin to victory. Boros is extremely fast but can be stalled out by Orzhov or in the mirror. I completly steamrolled everything else.

Went Orzhov. Pulled Borborygmos Enraged, Rubblesomething, Enter the Infinite, Alms Beast (who's great if you're not behind), and Boros Reckoner (went in my deck). __________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

4-0 with Boros today. (Too bad prize payout sucks at this store.) Didn't even pull anything incredibly good and had to actually play 3 colors (splashed Orzhov--pulled two High Priest of Penance...). I think I pretty much just won because I happened to pull all the stuff I needed at the right times. No Five-Alarm Fires, btw. Assemble the Legion is looking to be not a terrible card to me. Trading has been a little more lucrative although people here don't seem to really want to trade off the stuff I need for my decks, sigh.
