I didn't post in the GC thread or the PFMS thread, bc I didn't want to clutter those up, or lose some answers for this question either. Hope its cool So far, I'm thinking Boros or Simic. Edit: I like the burning tree guy too, so maybe gruul, hahaha! ~MM __________________ Blah, blah, blah werewolf. Smackity-smack not a werewolf. Suspicious of this fruit loop. Dimir the first event I play, then I'll cycle through the others for each event I play in.

boros, gruul, or dimir, people severely underestimate mill in a limited format. 40 card deck, draw 7 goes to 33, a few turns later grind out the mill and its on

Gruul. 4/4 trampler for 4 at uncommon, splashes fine with boros or simic for big bodies and decent tricks.

Either orzhov or simic. Those are my two favorite. Not sure which I will choose.__________________ *My LJ*Letter Bombs!*FB*Logout- MM is a copycat! (So am I)*CKGB

Safe to say Mind Grind could be a bomb for Dimir.~MM __________________ Blah, blah, blah werewolf. Smackity-smack not a werewolf. Suspicious of this fruit loop. My vote this round will be for Player X.New keeper of the Logout button

Math says otherwise, unless there are some serious enablers at common that gets your opponent's deck down to 15-20 reliably before you mind grind.

Dimir and Simic has best prerelease rares. But Boros and Orzhov has best mythics so far. Decision decision...

Well, there's the prerelease card, guildmage, undercity informer, and dimir charm. Of course, other than the prerelease card, those are all uncommons. Just saying.. opening the nuts for mill could be possible even without common enablers. EDIT: That said, something like Mind Sculpt would be amazing. And definitely isn't going to happen at common.

Boros is my first pick for the first day if I can't get Boros then I am going Simic. I don't know if I can play on the second day.

I'm most likely going to play Gruul. I'm hoping to be able to run Simic and splash red, but I'd be happy running Boros splashing green as well.

Depends on what else is spoiled, but right now it's looking like Boros or Gruul, then Simic after that. Orzhov doesn't look too good right now, and Dimir reminds me of Izzet from RtR (re: weak).

Assuming I play in 3 pre-releases, as I always do, and I can pre-register to claim ahead of time.1) Boros 2) Simic 3) Orzhov or Gruul I always like playing a different guild in each pre-release so I can get a different experience with each event. The way they are run by me, it's more about having fun then competing for a big rpize. __________________ My 2008 Nationals MOTL's Pro-Tour Winner 2007-2009 Tower Magic FacebookhilikuS: Also, as much as MAB's list has become the list on the T/A Forum, I do miss Slinga's.

Orzhov. Sit back and extort faces. Seems legit. The 1/4 extort at common for 3 is nice.

Even though Simic is one of my favorite guilds, I think Boros is looking strongest so far.

Anyone else? Any of the new cards spoiled change your minds? I'm leaning Simic ATM. If I play in 2, Simic will be one of them. Thinking Gruul for the other.~MM __________________ Blah, blah, blah werewolf. Smackity-smack not a werewolf. Suspicious of this fruit loop. Oops, missed this thread because I'm dumb.Boros or Gruul, but most likely Boros so I still have access to Orzhov. I think the other guilds would die to these two way too quickly for them to do a whole lot.

Still Orzhov. Guild allegiance über alles!
