Still not sure if I'm going to make it this year. Getting a hotel is damn near impossible unless you stay outside the city. Hopefully it works out so I can go.

You're allowed to camp with a RV in any Wal-Mart parking lot, rent a RV (or get the cheap ones that attaches to the rear of your car) with some MTG buddies and go have a blast!

Have to book a year in advance...or have a friend who lives in Indy.

Either way, if people want to just play magic or any older folk hit a pub send me a message and I'll shoot you my number. Last year I wound up doing a 2hg with a MOTLer that I had never met and it was a blast. We also learned that exalted is the suck in 2hg.

Wife works for Hilton. Every year we(friends and I) have gotten a room either at Hilton, Conrad, or Embassy Suites. No problem. Last year had to pull some strings to get a room. This year....nada. Damn you Indy for having two events going on the same weekend!!

Both years I went we were able to get a decent hotel within walking distance, but you gotta book in like February. I think it was the Comfort Suites. The one across the street from Lucas Oil Stadium.

Think there is a holiday inn next to that comfort suite with free breakfast buffet. IIRC there is icecream in that buffet.

As far as getting a room, if you want one within walking distance that isnt 300 a nigher .. you absolutely must be on the ball when the housing block goes up. The choice hotels sell out in minutes.
