What is the cheapest way to ship a couple cards in a bubble mailer from Canada to the US without having to pay 30+ dollars per package

You don't have a normal mail? It cannot cost $30 unless your getting tracking. I have heard many Canadians complaining about not having a cheaper tracking option but regular should be OK. If its a couple cards why not use PWE? Top loaders will keep it safe.

Just normal mail using a bubble with toploader. I've not had an issue with any of my trades. Less than 3bux to ship to the US.

As long as you say "documents" when they ask what is inside. Anything else gets the small package treatment, which is usually $6 to $8.

You don't have to use bubble envelope sending to canada or usa,Using normal envelope is cheaper for sending cards __________________ Alice In Wonderland Is Best Theme Ever,Get A Free Token Card In Every Trade!R.I.P Lucky (1997-2003). Say Purple

Isn't it illegal? If you ship this way, you can't complete a customs form right?

If they open it and assume the package is not documents then yes its illegal. I send all international with bubble mailers (keep in mind I'm from the US) and I don't have to use a customs form and it costs ~$3. That is FMCI large envelope. No issues. Other people from the US complain it costs >$6 to ship internationally. So I assume there is a cheaper way. You just need some time with a postal worker and figure it out. Try other post offices as well.

Unless you're shipping more than about 13 cards it's cheaper to ship to Canada or internationally in seperate PWEs at cost to the buyer $2 each for 4 cards per envelope. Doing Ebay when I do, I ship seperately internationally unless the person buys 4 or more playsets of something then it pays to ship the cards in a bubble mailer because bubble mailer depending where you ship in the world is usually $8 but can be up to $10 if shipping to Australia I believe.

always send in bubble enveloppes.. if you send in a PWE and the toploader breaks the sorting machine, YOU will be held responsible. Sending with a bubble enveloppe from Canada to the US is about 2.35$. It's considered ''oversized enveloppe'' and that doubles the 2 standard stamps, so 4 standard stamps. Hope this helped

If you don't use stamps and ship a pwe like a bubble mailer it costs ~$.67. This makes your letter band sorted and never touched by a machine. It it only gets machine sorted when using stamps.

I actually asked the question of what to declare when sending cards internationally. The Canada Post clerk told me specifically that trading cards are counted as documents for purposes of customs due to the materials used to make them and their shape. Thus, it's perfectly legitimate to call them "documents"
