I buy stuff here when I don't need it immediately... I don't have tons of wants/needs though as a general matter. I only buy elsewhere when I can't find what I need here at substantially equivalent prices (or, as already mentioned, I need them immediately--spent like $35 at my LGS when I could've possibly gotten the same cards for $20-25 online, but would've risked not getting them in time for a tournament). Also, I think people blow up the protection thing a little too much sometimes.There are a lot of buyers that are reasonable here, but there are a lot that just really aren't. It's one thing if I messed up prices or they changed recently, it's another if I'm being asked for 20-25% off eBay average on every single card I have listed. I miss the good buylists, those made things really easy for me. I can usually find plenty of stuff to sell off at mutually agreeable prices and just keep the stuff that's listed at like 25% off eBay for whatever reason (low demand at their store/market, etc).
