I bought a set of the commander precons from EVO games or Evolution Games. I saw in older posts that they often sold more than they had and would try to fulfill as many orders as possible or give a refund.Today, their website went offline. http://www.evogamingstore.com/ Does anyone have contact details as I want my money back.

If you paid with your credit card just call them and they will cancel the payment.

This story with Evo Games is not new unfortunately. It's been going for about a year, and I am not sure anyone has received anything from them concerning the recent Commander's Arsenal release.__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. OK, thanks. Can anyone confirm having received anything from EVO recently?

The only thing I received from trying to deal with them was an ulcer.

Not as easy as it sounds. I tried calling my credit card company and everything is automated and I was not able to talk to a real person. I bit the bullet and just paid it and I will see what happens. I figured I will just #$&* in one hand and hope in another and see which one fills up first. Lesson learned I guess, I will never buy special release product online again as my LGS only had 10 sets of these available for preorder and they sold nearly all of them locally so about the same was probably true for any other store in the country.

I was told that the site went down due to technical difficulties, and will be up soon.I have a contact with the guy who seems to do the orders, and he said he's trying to get responses out quickly, but it's obviously not happening quickly enough. I know the site had gone down another time and I crapped myself, but I've gotten things from them in the past, and have not had fatal problems. Timelyness isn't perfect, but I got all that I ordered.

It didn't a month ago. My chargeback was completed so I am only out my time at this point.

I ordered a sealed case of Gatecrash and received 6 sealed boxes with three of them being damaged externally in shipping. I spoke to George with Evo and got little support from him. I opened 4 boxes (3 of which were the damaged one) and received a decent spread of cards so I don't believe any mapping issues and none of the cards were damaged but their business savvy and customer service and shipping practices are questionable. It does not surprise me that their website is down and would probably be a good thing if it stayed down. My contact was with George who led me to believe that he was the owner. The number I used to contact him was (916) 512-3432. I hope any issues are resolved. This stuff is not good for the hobby. Dave

That only works if either the company wants that to happen or whoever set up their phone system doesn't know what they are doing. Most of the time when someone sets up a phone system they intentionally make 0 either do nothing or keep you in the phone tree, as they have created a phone tree specifically to avoid having the operator swamped, so allowing an easy way around it defeats the purpose. __________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me. It's a Chase Mastercard. I'm hearing about more commander product release coming up so there's a chance that evogaming could fulfill their orders but if not I can try calling my credit card company again to see if I can get anywhere but because it is paid for already I doubt they will do anything for me as far as a refund goes. It had to be paid for when the credit card bill came in or else I would have been charged for late payments which I did not want.

I have Chase Freedom and have had this happen several times. When you put in your dispute, they put a temporary credit on your card for the full amount, so you don't have to pay that part of your bill. The merchant never wins the dispute.
