I'm still going to keep my playsets of ONS Flooded, Scalding Tarns, Arid Mesas, and Misty Rainforests, so this is purely just if I should have extras...
They well presumably go down because now allied-color decks don't have to run enemy-color fetches.

I presume this news came from PAX. Did they say if the zen fetches would also be in the block?

No they haven't confirmed zen fetches. They do however fit the name and number crunch. Plus there's that comment from mark saying they are only gonna do rare land cycles with all 10 in blocks.

Except that didn't happen in m15... but zen ones fit the crunch as stated.

M15 isn't part of a block. That's the reason Sam Stoddard gave in his article that spoiled the enemy pain lands.

Just keep in mind when it suits their purposes for a block they will toss things they say in articles out the window, not saying they won't have the Zendy Fetches in this block, just something to keep in mind.

*facepalm* The very first post in this thread has a link that shows a spoiler and has links that show the new look fetches and their new artwork(which isn't very good).
It's not speculation, it's VERY much real.
EDIT: ah man...it is cute tho, watching the panic sale. Even SCG slashed prices in half on their ONS fetches.

Well, until Wotc confirms it, I am not gonna get my hopes to high. Although they might've been leaked onto tha spoiler link page, it's the only 5 original. There's 5 more to go (10 total for the block) And I agree, those artwork is hideous. __________________ 30th in refs on Motl! #1 Ref's for Arizona! I offer 3rd party trading services. The next 5 might come in the rest of the block ...and Flooded Strand looks like my 2 year old nephew drew it in crayon.

The best art in MTG is that card Mark Rosewater drew for Unglued. A fetchland drawn in crayon in FOIL would be awesome. More importantly: How do you equip a CHAIR?

Bloodstained Mire and Wooded Foothills art are pretty good. The rest not so much...So thoughts on value? At rare, I can't imagine this wave of fetches staying anywhere north of $20-$30. The art on the originals aren't that sexy either so I'm doubting there will be that big of differences.

Yea I'm probably on my way out of magic. Too reprint happy and since I don't have much time to play my collection is losing value over time. Oh well!

It's hard to take a hit like this in a single day. Glad I didn't have more than a playset of any fetch still. Lesson learned: Always sell out before spoiler season. I think everyone expected this to happen eventually. I mean, there's no reason to only have enemy-paired fetches in modern. It's also kind of funny to have the allied-pairs given this block is focused on wedges. __________________ Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!I collect Granite Gargoyles. Send them my way.

which is why i dont every invest in cards outside of duals and power 9. and reserved list. I think its obvious. supply vs demand.

Not so much investing, but just frustrating none the less. I wish they would keep reprinting, but with less frequency. Maybe I'd keep the older stuff but life is keeping me away from Magic.

All these people panicing about fetch lands dropping in price.tssk tssk tssk.Fetch lands are used in every format except standard currently. If dual lands stay in demand so will fetches.Fetch lands fetch duals.Yes they will drop slightly now but wait untill they rotate and the product becomes hard to find.Just hold on to your panties and ride the storm. That is if you plan to stay in the game.If youre strapped for cash and theyre burning a hole in your pocket dont expect to get top value for them because everyone knows that theyre getting reprinted.I personally only play commander so fetches are staying in my deck regardless.I look at shocklands much the same. When are they not useful.Wait till supply drys up then reap the benefits.
