I'll be disappointed. Which would not be anything new. So most likely, they will not be in there. :S

Question is are they bringing back the original 5 tricolor lands or are they making new ones. Arcane Sanctum, Crumbling Necropolis, etc. etc __________________ 30th in refs on Motl! #1 Ref's for Arizona! I offer 3rd party trading services. Email if interested. These are 'wedge' lands - two ally colors and their common enemy. The last tri-lands were 'shard' lands - a central color and it's two allies. RBW = wedge, RBU = shard PS, the original tricolor lands were the 'lairs' from Invasion block or the truly terrible cycle from Homelands that required paying mana to generate colored mana.

if you looked at EITHER link in the thread already, you would know the answer to this. Mystic Monastary ETB Tapped T: add U, R, or W to your mana pool. beyond that, as Pail42 said, or if you'd ready anything about this set before, you might know this is a wedge set. 2 allies and their shared enemy. UW+R, UB+G, BR+W, RG+U, GW+B. __________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."<crypticfreak1> jazaray got ahold of me. he also had a hard time finding the email. <Jazaray> She...

Oh, I get it. Never understood wedge. So we are looking at 5 tricolor lands. No fetchlands. Pity.__________________ 30th in refs on Motl! #1 Ref's for Arizona! I offer 3rd party trading services. There could still be fetches at rare, but ... http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/making-mana-2014-06-27 Wizards has said that khans block contains a cycle of "dual" lands. The article suggests that they are a new design and that there will be ten.

An entire cycle of Grove of the Burnwillows....that's my wish. Second would be Horizon Canopy...and third would be Nimbus Maze. Really ANY of those lands, or even a cycle of River of Tears. Those all are great lands to make a cycle out of.

the price of the UW and UB horizon canopies would be insaaaaanneeee. instant $30 cards.

I think these would be quite bad (design wise). They are too powerful and i think it's a stretch to figure RW can sacrifice a land to draw a card (i thought the scry lands were weird). The rest of the future sight cycles are pretty neutral in that regard. However, almost any they print will be success as they are all very good. River of Tears cycle probably the least, though. Grove is great for a lot of combo and control decks. Nimbus Maze is excellent flavor and power wise. Besides being fetchless, they would probably be the second most powerful (behind the duals you obviously pair with them).

im pretty sure Nimbus Maze is just worse than Glacial Fortress AND Mystic Gate. if you dont have anything, none do much. if you have both already, 2 are exactly the same, mystic being sliiightly better. if you only have an island or plains, glacial or mystic are just better.

Isn't 'spolier' better used for a block with a French theme? __________________ The Best Thing About EDH: "It’s like poker night, but nerdier." ~David Schreiner

I'd edit the title....but I don't have that power. Once you click submit on these things, there is no looking back :/ Maybe one of the Khans will be named Jacques

What if they finished the original fetchland cycle from Mirage by printed enemy-colour Mirage fetches? __________________ The Best Thing About EDH: "It’s like poker night, but nerdier." ~David Schreiner

That might have been cool if it happened while the ravnica shocks were still in standard, but without a dual to fetch they're just worse than terramorphic expanse/evolving wilds. Side note: more multi-lands should have basic land types.

What is this going to do for the cost of ZEN fetches? I just recently bought a bunch of them (3x Scalding Tarns, 1x Arid Mesas, and 4x Marsh Flats) and would like to hear people's opinion if I should panic sell or hold onto them. I'm still going to keep my playsets of ONS Flooded, Scalding Tarns, Arid Mesas, and Misty Rainforests, so this is purely just if I should have extras...
