Collector's Sword of Unhinged and UngluedProtection from Silver and Gold bordered cards. Equipped creature gets +2/+2, double strike, and trample. Whenever equiped creature deals damage to a player tear up one of their lands in front of them and point a laugh. Creature loses double strike if you don't point and laugh... Text: 24k and pure silver are better then black everywhere but in Magic. Planeswalker Timmy the Cheat (any combination of 5 colored mana)
Loyalty start of 3 +1 Gain 3 life. If you manage to gain more then 3 life and your opponent doesn't notice till the start of their turn gain another 3 life and a loyalty counter +0 Draw Three cards and put two back on your library in any order. Should you manage to draw more then 3 cards or put less then 2 cards back on top of your library before the start of your opponents turn, keep the additional cards and gain 2 loyalty counters. -10 receive an emblem that states any opponents cards placed onto your cards or in your battlefield are yours and you keep throughout the match, you keep the cards even after the Match is over. Your opponent must have at least 60 cards in their deck for each game or they forfeit any other games. Text: Some say winning isn't everything, but to Timmy he will do anything to win, including stealing your cards... Palming U Have your opponent draw a card from your deck, show it to everyone but you and put it back into the deck. If you can correctly guess the card, put it into your hand and put any other card into your hand from your deck. If you guess wrong, tear up the chosen card. Text: There is no such thing as Magic.
For the record I don't expect my cards to be realistic, but to provide some sort of laugh content.

Freyalise, Shardbreaker Planeswalker - Freyalise 1RGLoyalty {2} +1: Put a 1/1 Elf creature into play with "Tap: Add G to your mana pool (Reference to her elven background) -1: Freyalise deals 4 damage to target creature or 2 damage to target player (Reference to her Firemage side) -6: Destroy all snow permanents. (Reference to her World Spell over the Ice Age) I know her final ability really restricts her usage, but had Coldsnap been preceded by two sets into a full snow permanent block, I think this would have worked well. Round 3:This week, I would like for you to submit 2 designs. Same voting system as round 2. Card 1: Design an edh card that would be in the MYTHIC rarity of a set. So think Liliana's Realm or Nicol Bolas. The card can be any type, can be constructed playable but it is mainly meant for the edh audience. Out of the box ideas are encouraged! Card 2: Design a manland (mutavault, treetop village, ect) in the RARE slot of a set. You can choose for it to be a part of a cycle (celestial colonnade, stirring wildwood) or just by itself. Cards that would not count as manland: gargoyle castle, hellion crucible, Urza's factory Cards that would count as manland: stalking sands, dread statuary Again, this round ends on Sunday at midnight!

Round 3 CARD #1
Idol of Mass Hysteria Artifact CC {4} Each player's lands may tap for a color of mana they do not normally tap for. If tapped for mana this way it deals one damage to that player. You may play another player's General from the Command Zone. Castle Innistrad, Sorin's Domain
Legendary Land Tap ~ Add B or W to your mana pool. Vampires get +2+2. 5WB: Until EOT this land become's a creature named Sorin, Lord of the Damned. Treat this token as a 6/6 flying, indestructible, lifelink, deathtouch vampire. When this deals damage to a creature, if that creature would be placed into a graveyard this turn put that card into play under your control instead as a Vampire in addition to it's other types.

Card 1: New World Order (9UUUU) SorceryPut all cards from all zones (command zone, library, exile, stack, graveyard and on the battlefield) into their owner's hand. For the reminder of the game: -Players do not lose the game from failing to draw. -Each player may cast one spell a turn without paying its mana cost. -Each player skips his or her discard phase. -All nonland cards have flash Card 2: Gate of Utopia Land Tap: Each player adds a mana of any color into his or her mana pool. 2: Gate of Utopia and a land of each other player's choice that he or she controls become a 4/4 Elemental creature of all colors until end of turn. Card 1 Ulterior Philanthropist WWUU Creature - Human Cleric Hexproof Each player may only cast one spell per turn. Whenever a player casts a spell, each opponent may search thier library for a card with the same converted mana cost, reveal it and play it without paying its casting cost. 1/5 Card 2 Swindling Crest Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool. GWR: Target land you don't control becomes a 3/2 red and green beast creature with haste until the end of turn. ~this becomes a 1/6 green and white treefolk with reach until the end of turn. Whenever ~this deals combat damage to a land, you gain control of that land.

Card 1Vraska's Death Chamber 3BBGG Enchantment When Vraska's Death Chamber enters the battlefield put 3 1/1 black Assassin tokens into play with the ability "Whenever an assassin token deals combat damage to a player that player loses the game." All Assassin tokens gain Tap: Sacrifice this creature to destroy target creature, that creature can't be regenerated. 3BG: Put a 1/1 black Assassin token onto the battlefield. Play this ability only as a sorcery. Card 2 Fiery Waterfall Land Fiery Waterfall enters the battlefield tapped Tap: Add a U or R to your mana pool 3UR: Fiery Waterfall becomes a 3/3 red and blue elemental creature with double strike until end of turn.

EDH Card Corrupter of Souls 1WUBRG Legendary Creature-Hydra When Corrupter of Souls enters the battlefield, each player loses 6 life, then discards 6 cards, then sacrifices 6 permanents. 6/6Manland Rotting Pit Land Rotting Pit enters the battlefield tapped T: Add B or G to your mana pool 2BG: Rotting Pit becomes a 5/3 black and green Zombie creature with trample until end of turn. It's still a land.

Card #1: Malfegor, Heir of Bolas 2URB Legendary creature - Zombie WizardFlying If Malfegor would enter the battlefield from the Command zone, instead you may put a token onto the battlefield that is a copy of any permanent or Commander other than Malfegor and put a Command counter on Malfegor. Malfegor costs {URB} more to cast for each command counter on him. 6/6 Card #2: Kuldotha Crag Legendary Land Whenever Kuldotha Crag becomes tapped, flip a coin. If you win the flip, untap Kuldotha Crag. Otherwise, Kuldotha Crag deals 4 damage to you. {T}: Add {R} to your mana pool {RRR},{T}: Kuldotha Crag becomes a 4/4 Phoenix creature with flying until end of turn. Squee's scouting report listed the Crag as a resting point. Unfortunately, the report was lost along with the Goblin Platoon carrying it. Edited for flavor

When a creature you control deals damage to a player, that player discards a card. When you cast a creature spell, add BB to your mana pool. When you do not control a black creature, sacrifice CARDNAME and it deals 7 damage to you. Card 2 Dune-Brood Hatchery Comes into play tapped. T, Pay 1 Life: Add B or R or G or W to your mana pool. BRGW: Dune-Brood Hatchery becomes a BRGW Nephilim Creature with "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, put a 1/1 colorless Sand creature token onto the battlefield for each land you control."

EDH CardDark Moon - 4BBBB Enchantment At the beginning of your upkeep, each opponent sacrifices a creature. Whenever a creature attacks you, it's controller sacrifices it at the end of combat. Whenever an opponent sacrifices a creature, you may put a creature card from your graveyard onto the battlefield. Manland Glimmerhost Land Glimmerhost enters the battlefield tapped. T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Glimmerhost deals 1 damage to you unless you control an artifact. WUBRG: Unitl end of turn, Glimmerhost becomes a 6/6 Golem artifact creature of every color with flying, first strike, trample, and protection from nonartifacts.

It seems that we still haven't gotten the ball really rolling on this yet. I was hoping to generate more enthusiasm, but I guess until then we'll have to play it by ear. Everyone should keep their own score and should know if he/she is the winner or the runner up for the following week. dfitzg88 will hopefully post criteria for this week since he's the runner up and mm1983 has stated that he doesn't want to do it this week. So from now on, if no one steps up by Midnight on Wednesday to post criteria, then ANY MEMBER that participated in the last round may post the criteria

Here is an idea if anyone wants to run with it. Design a Gift/wish card that could be used in standard, be playable with four in a deck and would not be overpowered.

I am fine with it. But in the future, to make things easier for everyone, have an example of what you are looking for. The card doesn't have to be good, just sufficient to get the formatting across to everyone. By wish, I am going to assume you mean things that falls along the line of: mana cost sorcery or instant search your your sideboard for "condition(s)" and put it into your hand. Exile this card.

If a multicolor spell is imprinted then all spells you control have affinity of the imprinted cards colors. (Affinity : Spells cost 1 less to cast for each permanent of that color.)

Start with the card in your hand for the next game and it counts as one of your seven cards. At the end of the match take back Indian Giver. If Indian Giver remained in play at the end of the game regardless of who won, give your opponent Indian Give and you get a free muligan on your next game. Flavor Wishing you had that card back you loaned your friend for a moment like this can come in handy. So can wishing you had a better starting hand.
