dfitzg88 just came up with something that I think will improve our current system. From now on, along with your submission for this current game, please vote for the best submission for the PREVIOUS week. That way, we don't have to edit anything and get everything done in one shot. ThanksSince people aren't really too active about voting, from this point on, anyone that's a member of MOTL can vote. That means, even if you didn't participate or want to participate, you can pop in and vote for a design that you think is clever or interesting.

Just to review (corrected based on fluffycows reply); -The current week's criteria can be posted until Sunday night at midnight. (Corrected) -This week concludes the process in which we edit our submissions to vote. -Starting this coming week, all posts should contain votes for the previous week's contest unless you don't want to vote. Anyone, even without a submission, can vote. I recommend that people with the most votes toward the end of the week submit their design criteria to fluffycow via PM if they think they may not be around the following week to post it. (Corrected based on reply)

Submissions from this past week (EDH/Manland) can still be edited with votes so we can decide who will host the design starting Sunday. -Starting Sunday, all posts should contain votes for the previous week's contest unless you don't want to vote. Anyone, even without a submission, can vote. I recommend, as I will be doing, that people with the most votes towards the end of the week submit their design criteria to fluffycow if they think they may not be around on Sunday to post it. I work Sundays so I usually can't hit the forum.
Checking the thread on Thursday/Friday and sending over a courtesy PM if you're in the lead might be nice so the criteria gets posted on time. (fluffycow feel free to correct anything I got wrong. I just wanted to explain it the way i interpreted the changes so we're all on the same page)
This forum seems to be very inactive on the weekends, so I would prefer to not have anything start on Sunday. So I would rather have the deadline for voting and submission be at the end of Sunday. Therefore, the next criteria can be posted on Monday. I understand that people simply forget about this or whatever, so I think there should be a deadline so the people that do enjoy will not sitting around waiting. SO this is what I propose. Monday: The winner of the previous week should be known. That person has until Midnight on Wednesday (Wednesday/Thursday) to make a post about whether he/she would like to host the following week. Thursday: If the winner does not respond or want to host, the runner-up has until Midnight on Friday (Friday/Saturday) to express if he/she would like to host. Saturday: If neither has posted, then any member may post to express their desire to host, and the first post will take it. Please post if you like or dislike what dfitzg88 and I have said so far

dfitz88's card criteria: Design a Lord.
(Description taken from MTGSally wiki) A "lord" is an informal term that refers to any creature or other permanent that confers boons to other members of the same [s]creature[/s] type, usually without conferring such boons to themselves, however. The lords Lord of Atlantis, Zombie Master, and Goblin King, which appeared in Alpha, were the first of several lords, most of which would grant a power/toughness bonus of +1/+1 and an additional bonus, such as a keyword ability (e.g., landwalk, regeneration, haste, shroud). The description is only a guideline, and you can interpret it and adjust it however you think will make your lord unique while still making it feel like a lord.

The Bully R 1/1 IndestructibleThe Bully gives all of your creatures +1/+1 if your opponent controls at least one creature with defender. Your creatures can not be blocked by any creatures with defender nor can any of your creatures be blocked by more then one creature. If you control a creature with defender Bury The Bully. Flavor: Picking on the weak is all fun in games till they start to fight back...

Leonin Whipmaster {WW1} Creature - Cat WarriorOther Cat creatures you control get +1/+1. {W},{T}: Leonin Whipmaster deals 1 damage to target creature. That creature gets +2/+0 and must attack if able until end of turn. Flip a coin. If you lose the flip, that creature deals damage equal to its power to Leonin Whipmaster. 2/3 Vote for last week: slurpee Horribly racist but this made me laugh at random points in the day for no reason. Gotta love the flavor.
