Topic: High End FB Group ref check

I know a lot of your names from previous deals but honestly over the past 10 years have forgotten many of your real names. Ooops. I had been avoiding the High End Group on FB (I've gotta my wedding to pay for in September lol). Looking to ref check people in this thread that are on there but don't have many refs and I trust you guys to ref check more than random people on that group (which is why I'm pushing for many of those people to create accounts here once we trade). EDITED OUT NAME SINCE HAVE INITIATED DEAL. I figure in the future we could comment on this thread to ref check for others.

That's the problem with the fb group of motl. Alot of members are persons you never heard who before, or just joined the group to trade through there, and then join Motl, and you never seen of before on here. Personally, I would not trust it unless they provide you with a reference list. Preferred from here, but its up to you. EVERYONE on the fb group I deal with has to have a motl ref list to even consider trading/buying/selling with. Otherwise, move along ~Revenger __________________

Just pay with fees and if they don't send, open a dispute.. it's that easy.By "paying with fees" i mean don't paypal gift them. __________________

Ya, negotiated not paying via gift paypal and got some refs. I guy found a ref he had who is also on MOTL and the other guy just provided several refs but since paying via normal paypal I went ahead and did a couple deals. Man...there are some beautiful cards on there. I mean here it's just a bunch of lists for the most part and random scans here/there. That group has pics posted for most things and...it's just so pretty. :-| If I didn't have my wedding to pay for.....

lol. you guys might get a laugh out of this. a guy on the high end group, Richard Winter , had an unlimited savannah i wanted. we agreed to a deal was just pending a ref check on him. i then offered him $40 for a foil drs (got 2 in group for 45 and last one on ebay ended at like 41 so 40 isn't an unreasonable initial offer especially when you're already picking up another card for more). anyway, apparently he was offended by my offer and blocked me. i message him from my other fb account Me: "Did you block me after agreeing to a deal?"
Him: $65 paypal richard.L.winter@Hotmail.com
Me: I'm asking if you blocked me for some reason

Him: I dunno, felt insulted about you trying to get me to come down $15 from my asking price for shaman.

Tbh the way you were talking to me wasn't very cordial and the fact you'd get insulted by me asking you to come down when I've already picked up 2 Foil drs on the high end group for $40-$45 each and the last one to end on ebay was like $41 is kinda redic

Message cannot be sent based on either the receivers' privacy settings or yours. lol. oh high end group. you make for such funny interactions some times. even funnier since he has the drs listed on ebay ( user crackclown ) for $55 BIN and hasn't sold and even if it did he'd have to eat those fees :-p __________________
