Almost all original prints of the cards mentioned on the first list of LandDestroyers are now worth 1/2 or 1/3 of the price they once were.
Mmm what? Based on history I can't see this happening...
June 2013 - Tarmogoyf trades at $115, $5 lower than it's historical high after it's known it's going to be released in Modern Masters..
March 2015 - Tarmogoyf trades at $210, its all-time high.
Where did their price get ruined and how will a reprint in a set that costs $10 to crack a pack ruin its value?
Or how about in May 2014 when they announced the reprint of Force of Will as a judge foil. Normal FoW's traded at about $96, and today, they trade at $109.
If the player base grows, reprints are necessary.
