mm1983 Member	posted October 03, 2015 07:57 AM Curious as to odds of expedition land pulls. Out of 3 cases I pulled 3 expeditions, a foil Gideon, and a foil Ob Nixilis in addition to many other lower end foils. Has anybody had luck in pulling them from fat packs? Please do not ask me about trading new foils at this time. I will list everything that I will be trading or selling coming up. [Edited 2 times, lastly by mm1983 on October 03, 2015]

Child of Gaea Member	posted October 03, 2015 02:05 PM I have two people I know that each bought a fat pack and each of them pulled one. A Hallowed Fountain and Steam Vents to be specific. This probably doesn't help you but it was 2 out of 3 fat packs from the same store... I bought 12 packs at Walmart because they were there and I can and I pulled a Wooded Foothills. Also, probably not helpful but I have now told my story...
LandDestroyer Member	posted October 04, 2015 11:35 AM i opened 8 fat packs. 1st one had gideon and ob planeswalkers and foil mythic g/r guy fat packs 2-6 were crap fat packs 7&8 had expeditions. strand and foothills. then then 640 full art basic lands am happy. but if i hadn't had the last 2 i would have felt bad

stab107 Member	posted October 04, 2015 08:28 PM We opened 3 cases in our group, got two shocks and one fetch as expedition. Godless Shrine, Breeding Pool and Flooded Strand.

One box had steam vents and foil kiora, and 2 other foil rares (white black land and a pos card) All the rest netted nada. bluerong Member	posted October 05, 2015 07:20 PM I open one box and got Expedition wooded foothills, and 4 mythics of some value and some rare lands - undergrowth champion oblivion sower Greenwarden of Murasa Dragonmaster Outcast. foiled shambling vent, praire stream canopy vista lumbering falls Foil Mountain Foil Plains and other rares around 2-3 bucks. It was the exact opposite in my drafts. The small aggro was all traps because they just got countered by the immense amount of huge bombs in the set.

NO EXPEDITIONS!! 1 Ulamog 1 Kiora 1 Prairie Stream 1 Cinder Glade 1 Shambling Vents 1 Ruinous Path 2 Lumbering Falls and 5 Planar Outburst, including 1 foil. (and yes, I said 5!) I think i pulled a total of 8 foils including mythic/rares/uncommons/commons/lands from 72 packs. Kinda mad that i didn't get an expedition so i popped open a box of khans i've been holding on to. I got: 2 dranas 2 ob nixilis (1 foil) 1 greenwarden 1 undergrowth champion 1 sunken hollow (foil) 1 smoldering marsh 1 bring to light 1 ruinous path 2 void winnower 1 Lumbering Falls 1 Woodland Wanderer 1 foil swamp 1 foil desolation twin On the flip side, i got 3 beastcaller savants (which may be better than I think but I wasn't impressed. and 3 Guardian of Tazeems along with a bunch of junk stuff. Overall really good pulls but I still was a little bummed not to get an expedition.

What is the average price per booster pack for Battle of Zendikar if expedition lands are not included in the evaluation? The reason I ask is that booster boxes/cases seem to be more expensive on average than prior sets (Khans block and Theros block). I'm thinking that this is due to Expedition lands. Because there are so few playable/valued cards in this set, I'm curious to see where this price falls versus Theros and Khans block price per booster pack valuations when they first came out which I believe was around $1.50.

Based on that, $90 for a box means you'll pretty much be even, which surprised me. You'll have to read through the all the details to be certain, but I read it a few days ago so I don't remember all of the details. More important to EV to me is the possibility of getting decent playable rares. The chances of that are far lower even for fringe cards. However, it means if you want to gamble for expedition lands, it's not as terrible a gamble as I previously thought, but that depends on how much risk is acceptable to you. __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. mm1983 Member	posted October 09, 2015 07:22 PM Just opened a case tonight that had no expedition lands but had 2 other mythic foils. They were Part the Veil and Oblivion Sower. After seeing that I am convinced that the mythic rare foil if a non expedition land takes the spot of an expedition land. Has anyone else experienced this?
