Topic: I am officially free of MTG

Just wanted to let everyone know. Actually a few months ago, but I honestly forgot about this place. Only kept one thing - the SDCC Nicol Bolas poster, which is now on the wall in my office in a very nice frame, matted and all. Even got rid of the alters, that hurt, but had to happen. Paid off my house, and sided the rest into two other hobbies. No more cardboard and ink for me.
Hope ya'll are doing great in your adventures. I'm off to DnD finally. Gloomstalkers unite!

Congrats on your new found freedom! Life and paying bills many times is more important than a game. As much great value the game holds, at the end of the day it is all just cardboard.

I feel bad for never answering this, and leaving ya'll hanging! I sold it to another local player. I just talked to him over facebook messenger while thinking about something related after watching a video about a guy trying to find Italian Arena. He sold most of the alters to someone else local (shame, but understandable) and integrated the rest of it into his collection.
The genesis for this random recursion back into the fray (however temporarily,) is that I know now that there are TWO copies of Xth foil Russian Spark Elemental in existence! A half-playset!
Mine (sold with the collection, and he says he still has it,) and I have a confirmation through email with pic from Chris Wilson ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpdbY935nfo ) that he has one too.
So perhaps, a full playset of Foil Xth Russian Spark Elemental may be assembled in my lifetime. 20 years from now, if the pattern holds

Nah, I'm out of 'gaming' or related collecting. I only play a little bit of 5E/5.5 through DnDB so I dont even own anything physical... The other hobbies are art (I picked up a couple of things by Leonardo Nierman, and paid for some big framing jobs, and random other works here and there), target shooting/vintage firearms, and some audio stuff (Marantz HD-Dac1, Focal Elex, Domus Finch vintage speakers, and some other stuff)

Also StarCityGames say they have no record of every selling, or having any in their stock, despite having a product page specifically for russian xth spark elementals
