Sealed Deck Report

Hi all! Ted(man) here with yet another edition of Tedman's Tales! Now that I've gotten my pet peeves off my chest, I'm in a good writing mood, so I think I'll tell you all about my tomfoolery at a recent sealed deck.

For $20 (Canadian), we got a starter of Masques, and one booster each of Nemesis and Prophecy. Let me tell you this for the record- Prophecy is broken in any form of limited. Yeah, you heard me. Open up a pack of Prophecy and tell me there isn't at least one fabulous card in it. Here's what I opened:

So some of the colors are obvious choosers, namely Green and Black. I decided I had enough good cards in both of those colors to keep it the two. Here's the deck I made:

So that's my deck. It had everything- removal, weenies, fatties, mid-range critters, creature pump, defense, the whole 9 yards. So that's why I got third place.

That card is the single most broken Limited Card I have EVER seen in my life. It makes decks that are obviously far superior to yours lose horribly because they can't race your beats when you've got like 12 lands in play. Your white was amazing but the Green and Black was definately incredible. Although I personally would have splashed White in there for the Troubled Healers.

Sorry bout the Semi-Rant there but the card's just plain GOOD. If i'd done the Sealed Deck I probably would have splashed white because of these 4 cards.
