This is part 2 of my Sealed Deck Report article.

Round 1: Some random scrub

This is one of the rare occasions where I dislike my opponent, and I had reason to. He played extremely slowly, and badly at that. Whenever he was tapped out and he was done attacking and I asked him if he was done, he said "NO!" and looked everything over, and then let me go.

Game 1: He gets some early critters, like Mine Bearer and Pious Warrior. He amasses a weenie horde and starts pummeling me. Until I draw my Avatar of Might. I play it for GG, and he stops attacking. I get stupid and I attack with it. Whoops! Forgot about Mine Bearer. I lose after about 20 minutes of him and his Kyren Negotiations pinging. He forgot to use it at end of turn, and he didn't even use all of his creatures. I was a little more than annoyed. I even didn't feel sorry for him when I beat him.

Game 2: This game is EXTREMELY brief. I get a first turn Rampart Crawler, and he plays a land. I play a Parallax Dementia and attack for 4. He plays another land. I play a land, and attack then Invigorate. He's down to 8 and I make short work of him with my Mercenaries.

Game 3: See Game 1, except with a Mossdog instead of a Rampart Crawler.

1/0 Matches
2/1 Games

Round 2: Joel, a regular around here. This guy's very nice.

Game 1: This game takes a hell of a long time. I get him down to 2 with a Primeval Shambler (I love this card in sealed!), and he goes into topdeck mode. He eventually draws into killing my Shambler and then me.

Game 2: This game is all about Noxious Field. He gets a horde of 1/1s, I field them away. I eventually get a life advantage and ping away at him every turn.

Game 3: See game 2, but I end up losing.

1/1 Matches
3/3 Games

Round 3: Glacier14!!!!! I would enjoy this match win or lose.

Game 1: We trade life and creatures for a while, and we get into a stalemate. He drops a Hunted Wumpus, and out comes my Avatar of Might!!! CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP. Sorry Phil, but I made short work of you that game

Game 2: I kinda forget what happens this game, but it involves him getting out an Avatar of Fury and beating my face in.

Game 3: A simple game, not much exciting happens. Plenty of creature pump on my side assures me the win.

2/1 Matches
5/4 Games

Round 4: Josh, another regular. I need to win this game to make Top 4. Since I almost never beat this guy, my hopes were down.

Game 1: This game was all Avatar of Might. He gets out some piddly little 1/1s and 2/2s and I end of Fielding away some and trampling through the rest. He thought he could kill my Avatar until I showed him the Invigorate I was holding back.

Game 2: A normal loss for me. Nothing excititing, I got mana screwed, that's pretty much it.

Game 3: I kept a hand of two lands, and hoped to draw more. I ended up drawing into enough lands to hard-cast my Delraich and ACC my Avatar of Might in 1 turn. Teeheeheee! He died shortly after.

3/1 Matches
7/5 Games

Well, I've made Top 4, and I'm guaranteed at least 1 pack of Prophecy (4th place prize). Now I get into my Top 4 escapades.

Top 4, round 1: Joel, AGAIN!!!

Game 1: He beats me plain and simple. A rather close game, though.

Game 2: I beat him plain and simple. Delraich kicks butt in sealed.

Game 3: I find out he sided in Lightbringer and Nightwind Glider against me, and the ‘Bringer takes care of my Delraich, while the Glider takes me down 2 at a time.

Well, no first or second place for me. I do get to play for third, though.

Top 4, round 2: Tim. This guy doesn't show up here much, but when he doesn. He usually does well.

Game 1: Pygmy Razorback goes all the way! He does a grand total of 12 damage that game, while my Mercenaries do all the rest.

Game 2: A Lesser Gargadon and a Lumbering Satyr end up killing me on turn 8. Ouch.

Game 3: I forget exactly what happens, but I win.

Whoohoo! Third place for me! I get 2 packs of Prophecy free, and I pull an Avatar of Woe and a Copper-Leaf Angel, as well as a foil Branded Brawlers. All in all, a good day for me. So this it Ted(man), signing off.
