Amazing thing happened yesterday after exams...me and 5 Friends sit down to play a good ol game of magic I was thinking its me or my rebel deck my friends playing.

To my left is a buddy playing with Spirit En-Kors with A Wall of Glare Inviobilitied cheesy but hey...on the other side my cousin just made a deck i have no clue whats in it..the other guy is playing a Sliver Deck Complete with 2 Sliver queens and Defenses of the hearts (YUCK).

Anyway we start off me winning the cut with a Bribery...so i lead drop a land and say go..it goes my cousin who just made his deck drops a Crystal Rod...i laugh and say get that crap off my table...it goes around the rebel deck throws a Seargeant down me again...I throw a good ol Monolith Down..i am thinking Next turn Sibilant Spirit or Masticore..Either will do...it goes around the seargent gets killed by an enfeeblement or something gay...he lays another Seargent down...i pick up a dynamo and decide i can play this and have 10 mana next turn so i do it...saving a counter for something stupid...any way its getting 10 turns in nobody is really doing much...i tap out to play anthroplasm and another dyanamo next turn it will be a 12/12 heheehhe...anyway my cousin lays down 2 Caltrops...i look at the sliver deck and laugh....then it hit me...easiest way in the world to stop the rebel beat down....throw a caltrops out there...they attack the Flying rebels are dead :P unless crusade or something but your getting the drift...with 2 decks sorta Screwed and me playing fatty deck i decide to start lacing people with my anthroplasm and continue to do so knocking 2 people out of the game(EN kor and Slivers)...leaving me the caltrops deck...and the rebel deck i pick up another Plasm and laugh play it wait till it goes around...llalalal another 12/12. So i have like 24 mana out i have 2 monoliths and 3 dyanamos and land...the rebel deck with Dyanamos ( yes it works nicely!) has every thing picked out of it...and with the Sivvi gone from it i decide i can simply walk over it...so i start paying mana like a mad man...killing rebels like crazy...i also at this point have 2 Blizz Elementals 2 Anthros A MAsticore and a Karn and an Archivist...so cleanout the air and beat him to death with blizz elementals....Rebel Deck= Dead...i laugh....then polish my cousin and his caltrops off by making his army minute due to masticore...with 30 mana by this point 15 damage a turn :P.He dies by anthroplasm...

But think of this...CALTROPS...how many of you dont have 4 of them after bying 20 packs of Destiny trying to get a Masticore or Treachery or Thorny....

Next time somebody is playing a Blue deck in a tourney vs Rebels Side that in and get back to me...

Interesting...I played a Death Pits of Rath + Caltrops defense combo for a little while. It's even more effective with Instigator.

Yep, You have proven a well known point.. One card can stop another card. Yep, Maybe Defense Grid can stop spells, shatter can kill a artifact, terror can kill a creature, blah blah blah.. yes..

Yeah, Caltrops can stop a non-tourney Rebel deck, but tournament decks will have at least 4 Disenchants and probably 4 Seals of Cleansing, and maybe even some Abolish. So don't plan on keeping those Caltrops for long. Also, Caltrops is gone in Nov. or Oct. when Invasion is released, so don't expect it to stop Rebel decks.

I already tried running 4 caltrops in my L/D deck against rebel but he disenchanted the 2 i pulled before dying alonmg with 1 of my kegs-might do good in a blue deck though.
