Hi all back again with today's tournie report. Let's get right to it today, shall we? We got another report on my fabulous misplays and more comedy on my lousy role as a player of M:tg.

Decks
Acc Blue 1
Rebel 2
Ponza 2
Tangled Stompy 1
Control Black 1
Suicide Black 1
Recursion Black 1

Round 1 vs. recursion black
This was a pretty good match all in all, the only one where I drew any land whatsoever.
Game 1 was over quick as my rebels swarmed over his flesh reavers and skittering skirges. I armageddoned round 6 played reverant mantra black and took him out.
Game 2 I sideboarded in light of day, 2 absolute grace, nightwind glider, and took out all 4 mantras. He laid 1st, 3rd, and 6th turn plauges naming rebels and while I managed to hold him off for awhile with absolute grace and mother of runes, he quickly swarmed over after playing his cabal.
Round 3 was over quick as I double tangle wired him after getting a nightwind glider steadfast guard and light of day in play. he draws nothing but flesh reavers and dies a horrible death.
2-1/1-0

Round 2 playing against my own ponza deck
Playing against Da_Goz who's ponza deck I designed. He beat a rebel deck first game but in playtesting I have been stomping his butt. First game was fast paced as I had pulled searchers every round which he propmtly burned. ROund 5 he takes out my 2 creatures with 1 of his 2 cave ins. Finally round 6 or so I play 3 creatures, one being my ramosian lieutenant. He draws his 7th land, curses and I geddon my next turn with a mantra in hand and disenchant in hand. he topdecks his 2nd cave in and that is game when I let it pass thinking I would come back more quickly then he had. Mistake he draws 4 straight land plays a rider, taking out the 1 land I pulled and promptly starting beating me down. What a way to lose. Game 2 was over fast, had to mulligan for land then drew 2 to start off with but no rebels. He draws 3 land, 2 stone rain, a pillage and a two headed dragon. killed me in 6 rounds while I sat cursing at my deck for not drawing any land. Amazing that he has 2 cave ins and 2 twoheaded dragons, and he draws them more often then I do lands.
2-3/1-1

round 3 playing against control black
Playing a black deck again. wasn't much to say. My inexperience with my rebel deck finally showed by my failure to keep anything in play against my opponent. can't draw my third land and l;ose horribly.
Match 2 looked good, had 2 land in hand, crusade, steadfast guard enlightened tutor and tangle wire. played my tutor for an absolute grace, draw and play my crusade instead fearing the multiple plagues from my first match. he dark rituals and triple duresses me. end of game. can't draw any more land and his sideboarded rain of tears took out 1 of the 2 I pulled. managed to hold off for 5 rounds with my guard but died via skirge.
2-5/1-2

Round 4 vs my brother in law
I concede to give him the win as he hasn't won in 4 weeks, and since we were only playing 4 rounds I had no chance anyway.
