Allright, in this article i'm going to analyze one underestimated card: Flowstone Armor.Flowstone Armor 3
You may choose not to untap Flowstone Armor during your untap step.
3, T: Target creature gets +1/-1 as long as Flowstone Armor remains tapped.
Nemesis - Uncommon
In current T2 there are 215 */1 creatures out of 698 creatures, so almost 1/3 of creatures are one-toughness stupidos.
You may use Flowstone Armor as a pinger, OR you can pump up your own creature's power.
And think about multiple Armors... Since it is colorless, say bye-bye to all little critters which have pro-something (except artifacts).
The fact it stays tapped, and gives power bonus to your creatures as long as you want, is great thing. You don't have to pay 3 every turn to power up yours Cateran Enforcer, and you can cast more things on your turn.
And it is not so expensive to use, compare it to Predator, Flagship
We can use it as a mini-Scroll. And it kicks bottom in Limited...
Ok, now we could make some decklist using Flowstone Armor:
4 Flowstone Armor
1 Advanced Evincar
4 Vampiric Tutor
3 Yawghmoth's Will
1 Massacre
1 Perish
3 Phyrexian Plaguelord
4 Cateran Enforcer
4 Rathi Indimitator
4 Cateran Persuader
4 Rampart Crawler
4 Dark Ritual
4 Peat Bog
4 Rishadan Port
15 Swamp
Now we can use Flowstone Armor to wipe off threads with Plaguelord, just throw some mercs to lord and finish with Armor. Or just pump up any attacker you got.
Afterall, It is great card for being an uncommon. As i said before, it is great in limited. I've seen when it slaughetered Dawnstider single-handedly.
To be continued...
