This is a world premiere, itīs the first daily cloumn that comes every one or two weeks only!
For the first one, Iīd like to give some random thoughts about the already known Invasion cards, if you havenīt seen them yet, they are here: http://www.mtgnews.com. I will not repeat the text of the cards, go and print a list!
Invasion has the smell of expansions like Ice Age that already tried to give a boost to multicolor decks, with mostly crappy cards. Invasion is a bit better, but really many of the cards donīt look all too special! Well, weīll see what decks will come out of this card pool!

Ok, on to the cards:

- Leeches (one for each color)
Not too good. Splashable yes, but still not too good. Who wants to play 1/3 for W with a big disadvantage? Well, not many players I think.

- Atalya, Samite Master
??? Lots of life here. See it played in control decks! See it die to Hammers, Urzaīs Rage and all Terror-like spells.

- Death ör Glory, Fight ör Flight, Bend ör Break, Do ör Die, Fact ör Fiction
Harg harg, long live Lemmy Kilmister.
These cards are good. Some are even really good, like Fact or Fiction, Do or Die. They give riddles about how to seperate cards into piles. I like them. They will slow down the environment. Just because they need long to resolve...

- Global Ruin
Hehe, I will play this in my favorite deck, my 500+ cards Highlander Multiplayer Fun Deck. Everywhere else itīs a overcosted Armageddon that doesnīt work like an Armageddon...

- Harsh Judgement
Urg, my poor Hammers. How do I get enchantment destruction into Sligh? I donīt like this card, itīs good against red, but of course poor against everything else.

- Holy Day
A reprint from Legends?? Odd

- Prison Barrickade
All these Kicker creatures are just good in Limited!

- Reya Dawnbringer
Another addition for my 500HMFD. Play Buried Alive, search for Reya and Devouring Strossus, play Victimize, have another creature in play, have fun!

- The Djinns
I donīt like these. Well, maybe the white one for RuhamGeddon. Yes, sounds good!

- Sunscape Master,...
The Master rock! They are uncommon! See them played! Fear them being played! Wow!

- Crystal Spray
What an amazing name!

- Mana Maze
Looks good.

- Opt
I think this is a good card! Look at the top card, if you like it, get it, else, get another card.

- Psychic Battle
Wow, a new mechanic. And they didnīt make ten cards of it. Amazing. The card is fun, if you donīt have to target a lot, it might be good. But you play this only in Control, so why wouldnīt you target much there?

- Temporal Distortion
Why had this in Ice Age with another name. Nobody played it.

- Wash Out
Wow, monocolored decks will really get problems. But in a multicolored deck thereīs always the chance that if you playthis card, you also have cards of that color. Mmmhh...

- Crypt Angel
Cool!

- Cursed Flesh
Why are they making so many crappy creature enchantments? And even reprinting some. Bah...

- Desperate Research
Boo ya! Best card so far! You know tghe situation: You are waiting for the one card! Now go and find it. Chances are good there are one or even two amongst the top seven cards. If there isnt one of those, you have seven (!) turns less to wait for the card! Now why does it have the name of a blue card drawer?

- Devouring Strossus
Harrrrrr!

??? Why isnt this a rare card? In Ice Age these cards were rare (Lightning Blow...)

Is this a good one? Probably. But not like the other Yawgmoth spells we saw recently.
