Oh, he was banned, although I'm not certain what it was for any more. He was definitely banned. He was reinstated relatively recently; within the last two or three years, I believe. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think they will sing to me." -T.S. The reason Kworb was banned was the fact that he broke numerous posting rules.I personally gave him the Karma smack that banned him for his topic he created to flame Leshrac. Even if it was a joke, he had accumulated enough Karma to the point where this last offense banned him. After his banning, he proceeded to create numerous handles to complain about me banning him, from which I believe again is just more rules violations. Direct quote from one of Kworb's many handles: "Remember me and the suffering that was cast upon me and this board at the moment of my banning by a certain 'Thanos'? I wonder if he still is as spineless as he was back then..." He needs to be banned again for yet another violation of MOTL's Rules.

That wasn't me, it was a friend :P Not that it matters. But yeah I called Leshrac spineless for some reason.. think it was cause he unbanned someone. That and numerous other minor offenses led to my eventual banning. For example, I once created the topic "Magic Babes" to celebrate magic cards with nice looking women on them, and people found that reeeeally offensive. Anyway, it was nice to see all the familiar names

ive spoken with kworb. we used to frequent the same irc channels. hes a very intellegent person. alot like pyr0 in some regards. kworb and pyr0 actually have alot in common. but be it trashing the people in charge or being a troll, motl wasnt the place for them. __________________ "Am I the one you think I am, or just the one you didn't expect?" we miss you man.

The old days are always good. That's what makes them the "old days". It's been a while for me as well. Why is this forum suddenly full of these nostalgia threads? :O Let's make it the place it once was, without lamenting about how it used to be and it's never coming back. __________________ Traction - free realtime audiovisual experiencesGive me back what I paid For another mother****er in a motorcade.

Too many UBB games, insufficient interesting and controversial discussion. I suspect part of that is due to the rise of our aggregate threads, which clean up the forum but don't catch the eyes of wallflowers as much. Also, most of the super-ignorant members that posted prolifically were banned, so that doesn't help to inflame discussion either. Most of those of us who are left more or less agree on most issues now. Or so it seems. __________________ "I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. Hehe. Indeed. The aggregate threads are pretty much what drove me away from posting here. That, the over-strict moderation and the fact that I kind of quit playing magic. I remember MOTL fondly though. It's strange looking at my user profile and realizing that I've been a member for 11 years. That's a long, long time...(it's funny though that I am replying a day after you posted this... ) __________________ Traction - free realtime audiovisual experiencesGive me back what I paid For another mother****er in a motorcade.
