I'm just curious how they compare, this is by no means a trolling post. I actually play WoW and enjoy it very much and I know they have a TCG, but the community is kind of small. Is it very fun? Expensive?

The best non-magic CCG out there has GOT to be Warlord: Saga of the Storm. That game was soooooooo fun!LOL, sorry for the hijack... I just love bringing up Warlord! ;P

I used to play WOWccg when upper deck had the rights to do the card game. I use to play at a gamestore that i go on saturdays, then unfortunately they couldn't carry teh product/ upper deck would only distribute base on demand.another company has since bought the rights to do WOW IS it fun to play, yes as you have the usual array of cards and rarity. Instead of colors like magic, you have class types such as shaman, paladin, warrior, druid and such. ( 9 or 10 classes you can play ) Another mechanic is that you your some cards require cards to be in your deck. you could probably find sealed product online on ebay or at game shops/comic stores. If your new and plannin to invest, try and buy the booster boxes or limited sized lots on ebay. If you dont care about past released stuff, The new company released what i believe are class decks, and also a new expansion in booster pack form.

The gameplay is great. I enjoy not having mana issues, and games are usually a lot longer so you get to see a larger chunk of your deck. Also, raids are incredibly fun. I'm a crytozoic (the company that now owns/makes the game) volunteer and judge and will gladly give you the rundown if you want. __________________ Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore"

I played the game a few years ago when it was new and thought that while it was fairly easy to learn and admittedly some fun, I found that I couldn't get over the fact that MTG is just so far superior. It seemed like they tried to copy MTG in many ways. Also, it seemed like the innovative aspects of the game that set it apart from MTG, WotC just basically copied them and "one-upped" them. I recall that there were cards you would use that acted like an Avatar... and I'd say the Planeswalkers of MTG really stole their gusto there. They had "loot" cards and a sort of mega-rare rarity, which MTG then started making "Mythics" Even the whole raid thing that seemed kind of cool, it seemed like MTG came out with PlaceChase and ArchEnemy, and quite a few other things like that to sort of take the game off on other tangents besides the normal ways to play. So, all in all, IIRC the prices/values of most cards/sets/sealed product just went spiraling downward. Many CCG's (some really decent, others not so much) have come and gone and yet MTG remains king! It seems like every few years some game tries to knock the king off of the mountain, so far, all have failed. Pokemon, StarWars, WoW, YuGiOh, LordOfTheRings, etc, etc.

Rarity has always been based on the online game : White (common), Green (uncommon), Blue (rare), Purple (epic).
Every deck is based off of your Hero. All heroes (minus 4) are uncommons and thus worth very little. Your hero decides your life total (from like 25-32 depending on the class) and decides what kind of cards you can play in your deck. They are not like planeswalkers.
