Or maybe he knows the rules better than you? Expressing interest is not allowed in the Trade and Values forum, but asking someone what a price would be on a card on a sales list is not a violation of any rule. Had he offered a price, yes, but not just asking what the price would be.

Seems more like a fine line, since asking about something that doesn't have a price is irrelevant and tantamount to spam. Though you're obviously going to favor a long time member over me, so I understand where you're coming from.

The point of the "no offers" rule is to prevent cash auctions from happening. Someone asking what the price on something is does not do that. The post is no more useless than an initial trade offer, as the person clearly wants the card, but doesn't want to violate the rules by posting an offer because the price isn't listed.
