We never know the reasons for that decision. I imagine it had something to do with how often they're around and general MOTL experience. Also, I'm sure there's a certain level of demonstrating they can put up with crap from some of the random people who show up here.

Han did a LOT of banning in his first few days as mod. More specifically he targeted the people he constantly butted heads with. Tunaboo was banned within hours of Han becoming a mod it seemed.

If you recall my buddy Jason ended up banned after butting heads with that guy, i was close as well. Jason got unbanned a few years later when i returned to magic.

I have refunded the payment, to be honest, if your going to make a purchase using CC, and have them send it to not the address posted on the account, you can say it hasnt arrived and when the DC# is posted and it is said to not be at your house you get the money back. Much too risky to deal with online.

Before he became a mod Han was not that bad of a guy.At the time there were only a few active mods(there was no mods active for several forums including bad traders) and Han was exremly helpfull to the few of us who patroled the boards.I was working 12 hr days and often would recieve PM's from Han regarding an infraction ect..once i got home and logged on.Before he became a mod there wasnt any indication that the power would go to his head.I wasnt around for his first 9 months or so as work and a failing marrige led me to resign and take a long break from motl but i doubt i could have talked sense into him anyways.Sadly he completly lost it.He banned my buddy Ubercat over something that happened on mtgo which was my first indication something was wrong.I had a very heated argument with him about motl after this happened.To late though,he had let the power get to his head
