1. OGB stands for Old GhastBark. It was a running joke amongst our playgroup when I signed up for MOTL. In retrospect it was a good username. I'm into the whole brevity thing. 2. Haha Gum Stick. Never for a revised. I have standards you know. 3. From what I've heard, Tommy Lasorda. 4. MOTL foil project is slow going. I haven't been trading as much lately. When I start up again I'll definitely continue it.

1. What one piece of advice would you like to share with others to help them be more successful or be happier? 2. What failure in your life have you experienced that you feel is important to have lived through to help you grow?3. What would you like to do right now that is just outside of your reach because of one thing (money, people, other resources)? 4. Aside from server/forum/site changes, what is one thing that you would like to see changed about MOTL? 5. What is something that you feel that you are better than most other people at doing?

1. Don't sweat the small stuff and don't take yourself too seriously. 2. Getting fired from my old job. It really helped me realign my priorities, I'm at a new job that is better for me going forward and I would never have met my fiancee otherwise. 3. Lose weight. I've committed to the South Beach diet as of yesterday. The thing that's always been out of reach for me regarding that is will power and approach. Those two things changed yesterday. 4. I'm guilty of this, but I think people are too quick to jump on new members. Most don't deserve it but there are a few who most certainly do. 5. Honestly, burping. I can project my belches pretty well.

how on earth did you get the idea to send me a christmas themed edh deck for secret santa?I really did appreciate it, i actually own 5 edh decks now and just 2 regular decks, one is a foil beast vanilla and other is the cloudpost/vesuva eldrazi. My playgroup is small here and almost all we do is draft and play edh so that was a cool present.

I saw an idea for a holiday themed deck a while back. You said on the SS thread that you wanted a surprise so I thought that would be a nice one. Glad you liked it!

1. To play with, Pyromancer Ascension. Personally, Goblin Masons. 2. Red 3. The Pyromancer Ascension deck my friend and I designed for the 2009 extended season. If anyone follows the Overextended results, it's similar to the lists popping up in those tournies. 4. Draft. 5. I don't like the fact that Invitational cards have been reprinted without the winner's likeness. I feel they've earned the right to the card no matter how many times it has been reprinted.

Favorite food?Ten favorite movies? When did you get into Magic cards and who/how did you get involved? Are we (America) going into a depression? Where do you see the future of America's economy and general state heading and what could be done, in your opinion, to better it? Only the best, Jesse

I really liked triple Time Spiral draft. That was right about the time I was getting back into Magic and all of the old mechanics made it a ton of fun. quote: Originally posted by AlmostGrown: Favorite Invitational card?
Meddling Mage for sure. quote: Originally posted by stab107: If you worked at WoTC for one day, what would you do?What is your favorite album/artist to listen to while playing Magic? Could you post a comprehensive list of your Goblin Mason collection?
1. I'd read the design files of all the cards I could. I find it very interesting how cards were originally designed and the changes they went through to make it to print. I've had ideas for a few cards that have made it into print with slight differences (Tajuru Preserver, for one) so I'd be curious to see how many other cards there are like that. 2. Probably the Stones. 3. I am 2 cards away from completing my global Goblin Masons set. I need a Spanish foil and non foil. I know there are a few kicking around some European websites, but I'd rather wait to get both at the same time. For the record, I have at least one of the following: English English Foil French French Foil Portuguese Portuguese Foil German German Foil Italian Italian Foil Japanese Japanese Foil Simplified Chinese (S-Chi foils were not printed until Mercadian Masques I believe). Urza's Destiny textless test print (got this from Ben after a stroke of luck and a hefty price tag, well worth it though) English Foil misprint (the text is shifted about 1/4 of an inch up, looks very cool. Again, thank you Ben) quote: Originally posted by ogre: Favorite food?Ten favorite movies? When did you get into Magic cards and who/how did you get involved? 1. My grandmother's homemade pierogis. 2. A Few Good Men, Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, True Romance, Glen Gary Glen Ross, The Hangover, Dumb & Dumber, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Goodfellas, and The Shawshank Redemption. There are tons of others, though. 3. I don't think we are heading for a depression. 4. I think that the issue of the debt ceiling is thought about backwards by a lot of people. If we fix the debt ceiling problem, the economy will follow. I think it's just the opposite. But I don't really like to talk about politics. __________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winner http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html

1. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC. I'm a rock and roll fan, and these guys all rock hard and their music is timeless. 2. A Few Good Men, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction. All are well written, brilliantly acted, the cast is phenomenal, and the quotability is off the charts. 3. Word Freak, Bringing Down the House, and The Accidental Billionaires. Read the first two in college when I was playing Scrabble and poker a lot more than I was now, and my college years were just about the time that Facebook was taking off. All three are great stories. 4. The Simpsons, Man v. Food, Jeopardy! The Simpsons has been my favorite show for about 15 years now. Man v. Food is entertaining and fascinating at the same time. And I started watching Jeopardy! with my grandmother when I was a kid, so it's always been a favorite of mine. I'm also currently in the contestant pool, so keep your fingers crossed that I get the call! __________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winner http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html

1. No crazy stories from my concerts, but I've been to quite a few. My two favorites were both at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA: The Rolling Stones when I was in college, and Elton John/Billy Joel with my girlfriend (now fiancee). 2. I was in Indianapolis at St. Elmo's Steakhouse (awesome place, by the way), and the 4 of us were walking to our table. We pass by a group of 7-8 guys, and the 2nd to last guy looked really familiar, so we were trying to figure out who it was, saying "Is that...is that..." but struggling to find the name. As we pass the last guy in the other group, he turns around to us and says, "Yeah, it is." So who was it? None other than Richard Karn (Al Boreland from Home Improvement). We all thought it was hilarious that the last guy in the group was so proud to be rollin' in Al Boreland's posse. 3. I'd probably choose an infinite supply of music. I don't know if it would completely keep me from going insane, but it would certainly delay it. Thanks for all the questions everyone! __________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winner http://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html
