Hey guys. I'm going to be moving soon, and I am a bit worried about the whole transport thing of cards in binders. How can I package it so the cards won't slide out in transport? Plastic wrap each binder, perhaps? Thanks!

Just stand a few binders upright inside a box/crate, and keep them topside up.__________________ "He fights you not because you have wronged him, but because you are there."[16:17] <@BrassMan> what do you need new tech for? Id also suggest putting them in those tubs with locking lids in case anything were to happen. __________________ 2010 Homer Simpson Award Winnerhttp://classic.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/016901.html

The biggest chances of damage from transporting binders include:- cards coming out of the pages - Pages bending with the cards in them, and - the binder rings squishing into the pages, and damaging the cards in the nearest slot. Years ago I bought a Beta Lotus as part of a collection. It got heavily damaged, in transit, when shipped incorrectly in a loose binder. It turns out it is pretty easy to prepare binders for shipping. A nearly full (of pages) binder is much safer than one that has lots of free space. This is because the pages can't move as much. Following this theme, I find it easiest to cut pieces of cardboard slightly larger than the binder pages. I put one as a first page and one as a back page of the binder, and tape the two together. Since they are slightly oversized the tape doesn't impact the regular plastic pages. If the pages are really snug, then none of the pages can move, and none of the cards can move in a page. If the binder is at capacity, and if it doesn't have special artwork, you can just tape the outside of the binder shut. But the cardboard inserts are a bit more elegant and can be easily reused.

Since you have to hire armed bodyguards and carry a holstered pistol while traveling to Manitoba, give it to one of them.

best Idea I ever saw was someone used cellophane wrap. it worked like a charm and it is cheap

I suggest taking the cards out of the binders and transporting them in boxes or something instead. How are you moving/transporting them? In your car? I moved a few binders of stuff recently and there were no problems.

If it is D-Rind or other similiar binders I recommend this. Open the cover of the binder and cellophane or bubble wrap the pages to the back cover. Then wrap the binder shut. Place Binders in some sort of box. If there is any space left over, set some towels or clothing in there to prevent shifting. I once did this method when I traded a few sets in D-Ring binders in the mail, and he received them with no problems whatsoever.Good luck! ~MM __________________ I am MeddlingMage...YOUR Motl Survivor 11 Champion, 2007 Captain N award winner, 2010 Marlboro award winner, and 2011 Champion Tournament Pick'em MOTL NCAA Bracket Challenge winner!CM Punk "OMG Kevin Nash WTF, thought he was dead, LOL" New keeper of the Logout button
