No, but related - LoL. @Heresy: Any reason you don't buy online? I've been thinking of getting Bravely Default, but it seems pretty standard. I normally like JRPGs - just not sure I'm in the mood for that sort of game. Maybe the new(ish) Professor Layton, although I haven't played any of the other ones in the series.

You're in for a real treat with Professor Layton: Azran Legacy. It's a fun story and the puzzles are not tedious either! Every year Layton just finds ways to improve; it's great!

They get 1 copy per week of the CE version that I want and it's sold out online except for the sharks that resells them at 100$ a pop :/

how old is your son? This is a rated M game for sure. One of the final levels is giving an abortion to a snuke hidden up Mr. Slave's ass.

Tales of Phantasia was made a free app on the apple App Store! It's a lot crispier and sounds better. It plays really well once you get used to flicking the screen instead of the controller too. The catch? It is crazy harder than I remember. They want you to use in app purchases for miracle bottles at 2 bucks a pop that revive your party from defeat. And buy experience to cheat up levels. Sigh, rather dust off the gba and play it on that instead

Decided to for up Path of Exile and there happened to be a cutthroat league running. It was super fun and very challenging. I killed a couple of dudes and took their gear, though later I got ganked. Will try a short-duration cutthroat league event again for sure.

That game is everything D3 should've been =/ __________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. We don't like games. We don't know games. We can't read minds. Say it like you mean or STFU." -rockondonMy Sale Thread

Yeah, these guys have done a very good job creating a fun ARPG. D3 was such a waste of time, unfortunately.

I'm almost done with this game, and overall have a less favorable view. The puzzles are great, but the story is really tedious. I wish the puzzles connected to the environment more often/better. Worth the buy, but don't think I'll be picking up other games in the series. I'll probably be picking up Bravely Default at some point in the next few weeks, though.

The main complaint I've heard about it comes about ~40-50 hours in. Have you gotten that far yet / what are your thoughts? I've tried to avoid spoilers, so I'm not exactly sure what the general internet is referring to at that point, but it seems to be one event/plot point in particular.

Are you referring to the amount of backtracking you do close to then?

I guess - I'm not really sure exactly what the lategame complaint is, just that there is one. Does it stay pretty consistent/strong throughout in your opinion?

I feel hesitant to shell out $40 for Reaper of Souls. I like the gameplay a little more and the loot system, but the real question is, "is it still fun at max level when you're just farming basically?"__________________ "Message to women worldwide: Girls....we're stupid. my guild talks a lot about d3 in our downtime, and they seem to really like it, but then again, heroic 25m raiding guild, so they're a bit more hardcore about gaming in general than the average

Save your money and download Path of Exile. The league race events alone trump anything D3 could offer, with or without RoS. I just finished an 85 minute race and it was quite a challenge. There are a ton of 1 hour races this season, great for both casual and hardcore gamers. In fact, one of the most appealing things about the races to me is the fact that they are single elimination (hardcore).

I've decided to play through some of the vanilla D3 to see how much I like the changes. I'm missing out on adventure mode, but I don't feel like I would play it on farm status as is. It's a lot more fun imo than it was at launch, but something still feels off to me. So basically, in the same boat as you.

On my Steam account I tried out Tiny Brains - very good for solving puzzles.I did get Forced as a gift so I'm trying that out right now. The achievements to finish the section in xX amount of time or kill the boss or set of mobs in xX time is quite a challenge. I'll be working on that for a bit. __________________ ☆GøÐÐ맧☆ "The tin man says I'm doing fine"*Silver Jewelry* I'm a pluviophile.

Don't play D3 if you are playing WoW, the gameplay feels so watered down.

Just finished my first playthrough of Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls. I hadn't played D3 in a long time, so started a Crusader. Not sure if it was because of the class or the changes that I've missed, but it was a lot easier than I expected. Now I just need to level up a bit more and see what the Paragon levels are all about.__________________ There's no need to fear, UNDERDOG is here! All your Gruul Nodorogs are belong to me.
