Signed in on the Yahoos.
Team name is "Pug-Life" I found it such a pain trying to figure out what team was what motl member. Might make it easier if team name mirror's motl name.

We've never, to my knowledge ever autopicked the first round draft pick, or anything till like 10th round. My suggestion would be to message Rabid Wo1f and tell him he is on the clock.quote:

Its a 24 hour clock until like 2 or 1 week prior to the season starting. We've got plenty of time. However, I do agree if this does drag out like it is doing right now, or how I feel it is, persons are going to lose interest and just quit altogether. It's been at least 36 hrs now. Can we move on please?BTW - in this thread, Rabid Wolf said he doesn't check this board regularly and to contact him on Facebook. Does anyone know what that means, and has anyone tried that?

Awesome! Now, to everyone out there, who knows we have started, is it to much trouble to check the motl draft page every day or every other day? 15 minutes of your time, from your laptop or cell phone just poke in, see who is on the clock (and check maybe to see if you are coming up as well) and make note? I'm on here daily, I think sometimes hourly (lol). I have home data spreadsheet of draft picks, and email notifications for everything. I can message motl pm anyone who is on the clock, however, I think only for the first round. Up to y'all after that.  ~Revenger __________________

18 hour workday. If I'm up on a friday, it will likely be a late pick. I usually work doubles on Friday. Next time I'll send revenger my picks to keep it moving.

Ugh. WOW. I think we have had more missed picks already in the 1st and 2nd rounds this year then we did all of last year and year before combined.
It is the weekend...but...ugh. __________________

This is my first year, and I don't want to jump in and change everything, but I think we should maybe explore setting a date/time and just doing a Yahoo online draft. That way, we could knock it out in an hour. Just a thought.

If y'all want to do that instead, ok thats fine with me, however I will not be participating or running it.
Tradition of this is like 10+ years...so I don't know. I'll be running this is until it dies.One of the reason why that never works is we can never get everyone on the same schedule/time to do that. We have a team right now that works the 3rd shift, so it just makes it nearly impossible to do that. I'm flexible I could possibly make it work for myself, but not everyone can. For example: I'm on the same time zone as WOTC right now (Arizona time zone actually never changes) but lets face it, between 9pm and 9am, I'm out, asleep, watching the tube...etc etc. quote:

yes it has been hard to check in. working long days as a mechanic, and with it being summer time alot of family functions. last time i checked it was still first round. i dont understand how it got to me so quickly. no PM or Email at least? go ahead and drop me. good luck everyone.

Well since Steelerman is quitting after one missed pick, we have to pause until we can find a replacement for him.I've not a clue right now on who can replace, but I can search.
