I am not sure where to post this but I am looking for some advice on how to get MTGO to play on my mac. I went to the WotC but it doesn't seem like that thread is very active.

Here are my computer specs

I have a Mac Book Pro
Here aer some of my specs
Mac OSX v 10.6.7
2.4 ghz intell core 2 duo
4gb 1067 Mhz DDr3

I was also told I could install something called parallels I see the latest version is 6.0 but I found v5 for $50 cheaper. Would that work also? Thanks

You should have no problems getting it to run on your machine. What you need most is a copy of MS Windows. I recommend XP - should be easy to find at a good price.

Next you will need some way to boot into Windows. Parallels is an option, but you may want to check this out: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_i_install_windows_xp_on_my_mac_using_boot_camp_1.html

Finally, a caveat - Wizards doesn't support MTGO on Macs officially, so if anything goes wrong, they probably won't be able to help you.
