Hi All, I have bitcoins, and would like to trade them to you for Revised Dual Lands, or some other cards! If you are interested, but have never used Bitcoin before, I would recommend going to https://coinbase.com/ to set up a Bitcoin wallet. It is safe and easy, and has the most up to date exchange rate (currently at $837 per Bitcoin!) Personally, my favorite part is that it is easier then Paypal. Anyways, for those of you who already are Bitcoin pros and want to add to your stash, and those who are new to it but want to get a little stake just in case it keeps going up as it has, Here is my list of prices for your Revised Dual Land cards in Excellent condition or better. Prices are in in BTC (Bitcoin.) Dual Lands: Underground Sea 0.13 BTC Volcanic Island 0.113 BTC Tundra 0.103 BTC Tropical Island 0.103 BTC Bayou 0.097 BTC Savannah 0.054 BTC Scrubland 0.054 BTC Badlands 0.054 BTC Taiga 0.048 BTC Plateau 0.043 BTC Other Cards; Mana Drain 0.088 BTC Eureka 0.048 BTC Karakas 0.06 BTC Gaea's Cradle 0.084 BTC Lion's Eye Diamond 0.052 BTC Force of Will 0.044 BTC Sword of Fire and Ice 0.019 BTC Wasteland 0.048 BTC Show and Tell 0.04 BTC Rishadan Port 0.048 BTC Polluted Delta 0.06 BTC Flooded Strand 0.048 BTC Wooded Foothills 0.024 BTC Windswept Heath 0.032 BTC Bloodstained Mire 0.024 BTC Grove of the Burnwillows 0.024 BTC Liliana of the Veil 0.032 BTC Mutavault 0.02 BTC Vendilion Clique 0.028 BTC Karn Liberated 0.028 BTC Temporal Manipulation 0.036 BTC Cheers, Chris

You may want to rethink your values on the duals... for example, an underground sea valued at $75.33 is a snap buy and flip for anyone on this forum. So in other words, you won't find a willing participant.

Edit: I have updated my prices, take a look and let me know what you think!I have to discount the cards a little bit in order to offer Bitcoin as payment, due to the simple fact that Bitcoin is expected to go up in value pretty dramatically, so any BTC I sell off is one that won't go up with the rest of my stash. To prove my point: One year ago, the exchange rate was $23 a Bitcoin Six months ago, the exchange rate was $140 a Bitcoin Today it is $840 a Bitcoin Projecting forward, six months from now I expect it to be at least $3300 a Bitcoin. As you can see, without enough of a discount to at least partly compensate for my expected losses, it would be impossible for me to offer to buy cards for Bitcoin at all

The value projection you listed is dependent on many macro-scale factors that you have practically no control over. Bitcoin is NOT expected to go up by everyone, especially now that some countries are cracking down on it. Bitcoin is a bubble that is close to popping - your figures and expectations prove it. I wish you the best of luck sustaining a 400-600% ROI with bitcoins.

This won't work. You have to decide if you want to speculate on bitcoins, or if you want to use them as a currency. Both is fine - just not at the same time.

3 years ago seas were worth 40$ and will most likely go up. Bitcoin will crash and burn.

I don't mean to be mean, but 3 years ago Bitcoin was at 40 cents, now it's at $800. had you sold a single undergound sea then and spent them on bitcoins, you would have $80,000 right now.

Alright, this discussion is getting off track and rapidly approaching the point of putting people off of trading in Bitcoin at all, which would be unfortunate. BreathOfZen, this is a MTG trading forum, not a Bitcoin speculation site. You want to deal in BTC. That's a great idea, but I think you'll have much more success bartering resources at the current rate of exchange. As Leeroy pointed out, currency just doesn't work the way you seem to be wanting it to. You can wield your BTC as tender or as an object of speculation, but not both simultaneously. After all, what would you say to me if I wanted to buy a Mox Ruby from someone but demanded a 1.5% discount on the price to match the yearly U.S. dollar inflation rate? If you're completely dialed into BTC at 4x market rate, I suggest you hang onto your portfolio there, and stick to using cash to procure collectibles.

Exciting news, Tiger Direct (a large online electronics company) now accepts Bitcoin for payment! I just bought a work laptop from them with it, and am going to be buying some Galaxy Tab 2 cables from them, a vacuum cleaning robot, and I dunno what else, all without breaking out the credit card. Pretty sweet.http://www.tigerdirect.com/bitcoin/ __________________ I trade Bitcoin for Magic Cards. Check out my thread! H: Bitcoin W: Magic Cards!

Yea, I just got wind of this thread, and it is HILARIOUS...How can people be so stupid to think bitcoin is a bubble and that countries are cracking down on it. I luckily have been involved with bitcoin since the beginning. Anyone who doesnt understand bitcoin or thinks its going to 'crash and burn' is literally brain dead. I feel really sorry for those people. If anything, people should be celebrating that new members are here with bitcoins. People do not understand how hard bitcoins are to come by and that only 12 million exist. Really sad day to see some of the ignorant responses by people who have no idea about bitcoin. The majority of U.S. corporations are spending millions of dollars of 'R&D' [research and development] to integrate the use of bitcoin into their web infrastructure. Not to mention, many of the biggest tech entrepreneurs in the world are invested in bitcoin. Bitcoin is obviously the wave of the future, as were cellphones and email just a two decades ago.

What exactly does bitcoin make or produce to be supposedly worth so much money? Honestly , do you guys who trade in bit coin think the governments of the world are going to let it become some world currency? They will not.The U.S. already has bitcoin(it's called the U.S. Dollar- which coincidentally is backed up by nothing(only the will of the American people.) I would assume bitcoin, since it's so rare and expensive as a currency is backed up by something?I honestly would like to know.

I would advise against pricing your cards explicitly in BTC. It makes more sense to price them in USD and have a standing offer to complete the transaction at the current exchange rate. While BTC is useful as an exchange of wealth, it is not yet so far developed as a currency that people are doing anything other than calculating a card's value in USD.__________________ blacklotusgo.comAccepting bitcoin! I am well aware of Bitcoin, the code behind it, and the gears that make it run. Bitcoin is NOT a perfect currency. It is a step in the right direction, but it has both pros & cons. You can feel sorry for me all you want but please do not insult my intelligence. I stand by my words.I do agree that we should be welcoming alternative forms of currency and trade mediums. The intent of my first post was not to slam Bitcoin... <3 Bitcoin quote: Originally posted by HarborMaster: Yea, I just got wind of this thread, and it is HILARIOUS...How can people be so stupid to think bitcoin is a bubble and that countries are cracking down on it.
