some way of compacting them into zipped folders or something of the like, for easy, organized downloads of complete PM sessions?would that be possible.. __________________

While that would be cool, I don't think it's all that necessary. If you absolutely need to keep PMs, you can just click on "file" and then "save as" in the top left corner of your browser. I don't think there should be THAT many PMs in your box. Most MOTLers don't really use the system very much, if at all.Generally speaking, email seems to be easier for trades and other important things. Safer too, given MOTL's recent tendency (well, it only happened twice--but that's more in the past months than in the last 5-6 years--although, MOTL has a lot more members now to... anyway! Back on topic.) to crash and become unavailable for days at a time. __________________

And more importantly, to sometimes wipe out Inboxes when it comes back. I lost trade info that way once, and will never trade again without email confirmation of the deal. PMs should just be for quick contacts and such, not for anything you actually care to save for any period of time. __________________

Just a thought, .. and yes, always get tracking numbers on packages sent out, whether it be one card or twenty. =)

I think you misread what I wrote. Email should be used for trade confirmation, not MOTL PMs. PMs have a funny way of disappearing when it's most inconvenient. __________________

yeah... it's kind of hard to remember to send from a PM, as well. Usually, my read but saved as new e-mails look different (text is unbolded) but here there's no difference.
