I thought it might be a good idea to insert into the Trading Forum & Sales Fourm the suggestion that for all deals with Power and/other important cards (old school duals, trades worth more than 25$, etc) that members should exchange scans before trading if at all possible and use registered mail.I was reading the BTA and I think several problems could be solved by: "this is / was the scan of my card" or "I / you received on this date. Here is my proof" Just a thought. -OCDOD __________________ - ocdod [at] yahoo [dot] com "Look at 'em run!"

good idea. but its a sticky situationProblem #1, not everyone owns/has access to a scanner. Problem #2, sometimes scanners dont show the condition of the card too well anyways __________________ your ubb survivor 10 champion!! Both are very good points. Scanners as a whole don't show alot of the wear you can only see in person, such as warped cards and in many cases markering. Some people also just use digital cameras instead of a scanner, but that's even worse than a horrible scanner IMHO. __________________ Help me clean out my house.Wisconsin - smells like dairy air!

The OP wanted a suggestion put up in the forum (I'm thinking kinda like where it has the huge text of "post EXACT prices...")IMO it wouldn't help much anyway. I'd think 99% of the people that buy, trade or sell high value cards already know the existence and importance of scans/pics/detailed descriptions of conditions and the importance of protecting the cards in the mail.

All the points you guys are making make sense, but still, I'm with OCDOD. All he said was to make a suggestion! It couldn't hurt, and it definitely could help a lot of people who care about the condition of their cards. Nothing to lose here, let's go for it.__________________ Eternal EnlightenmentAIM: EvanWithAnS
