every time u trade if you throw something in (that they wanted) they can check like an additional box in the ref check area and after every ten checks u get you get some sort of little star by your name or something or * = 3 type dealthat way it promotes throw ins wich more people should do and also makes ya look better when tradeing with people you havnt traded with

i was always under the impression that throwing in cards in a trade was to make the other person happy, and to help them out a bit, not to get a little star beside my name or make me look better i could be wrong though.....__________________ your ubb survivor 10 champion!! I don't think this is a very good idea for a number of reasons. Throw ins were always something you did to be nice or to help someone out when you could. Some people use throw ins to balance out a trade one way or another. I don't think there should be any obligation to add throw ins, as there are many traders who simply do not have the extra cards lying around to add, or may not have the exact cards that someone would even want. A 5 and a nice comment would suffice if you add some extras, and I don't think we need to add anything to the current ref structure in that area.

So if I was to throw in a couple crap commons in a $2 trade, I'd get the same star as if I threw in a FoW or something in a $100 trade? Seems unbalanced to me.Throw-ins are for making people happy, not buying a reputation. __________________ Mort was already aware that love made you feel hot and cold and cruel and weak, but he hadn't realized that it could make you stupid. I can see where your intentions for this would have merit, but it would just get the people who make ANY sort of trade want to throw in crap and then claim they deserve that extra bonus when they get refchecked. It might cause problems because they'll expect it and what if the person leaving the ref doesn't do it? Will they get a bad ref because it would be compulsory to leave that extra mark for the ref? I think that throw-ins would be left more to those who think they need to make the trade a bit more even, to compensate for any delay or condition issue, and as a nice surprise for the recipient. You can get the other way around to where the person would constantly expect to get throw-ins and when they don't get something extra (or what they consider as a throw-in off of their list) that they'll get upset and leave a far less appealing ref than what the sender really deserves. __________________ GøÐÐ맧D≡P≡CH≡ MOD≡ 370HSSV-0773H CRIKEY! Would you rather we just say we don't like your idea, rather than point out what we don't like about it so you can either explain why we're wrong or alter your suggestion? This is a discussion board, after all. __________________ Mort was already aware that love made you feel hot and cold and cruel and weak, but he hadn't realized that it could make you stupid.
