I am currently going thru a BTA with some guy and part of his defense about his cards where that "I have to ask what condition the cards are in"

I think that all posts should have to have card conditions listed

or at least a "all cards are EX+" type or thing

obvisouly there are alot of cards on alot of lists so it would be very hard to go around asking what every ones cards conditions are

just like how when you buy or sell you have to list prices
so why not conditions its just a small step to make things go alot smoother

heh, nice idea, if you feel compelled to do it then by all means.

now for those of us with enormous lists(take a look at nderdogs) this would be absolutely horrible. to list every single cards condition would be crazy. if youre volunteering to do it for me then fine

in all honesty its much more easier to just state condition when a trade is agreed or when the person asks for it.

The other complication is that different people use different grading standards. I really don't think MOTL should impose it's own arbitrary standard on others, so this wouldn't work well. If condition is important, you should make sure it's discussed before confirming a trade, with a link to the condition guide of your choice, so there shouldn't be a significant disparity between what you're expecting and what you get.

On the other hand, sending cards in worse condition than EX without disclosing is not acceptable, either.
