Is there any way to flag replies to your thread after you've replied to them to track who you have and haven't talked to?

I suspect that that might be too taxing for the server. An alternative, however, would be to jot it down (along with the date) on a small pad of paper with those rings.

That's what I usually do, but I've been very busy lately and a couple of times I've double replies by accident.
