The private message box says "You can only store a maximum of 30 messages" but it starts marking my messages for deletion if I have more than 21. Is this fixable?

Are they marked for deletion, or are they just below the "Warning! You can only store a maximum of 30 messages. Messages after this point may be automatically deleted next time you check your private messages." line? I have 27 messages, none are marked for deletion, but 6 are below the warning line. It's nothing to worry about.
