Any way we can make the search engine recognize beta, FBB, asian ,etc?

The search engine for the Haves/Wants forum already will pick up sets, assuming they're entered in correctly, which is fairly rare. The others aren't recognized because there's no tagging or identification for foreign cards since the H/W searcher runs off of the same information as the Trade Matcher (I'm assuming here...may not be right, but it seems to work that way) which only stores card names and sets. Leshrac may be able to provide more information, but I suspect a massive coding project and complete revamp of the H/W list format to include some form of language tags and possibly other stuff would be needed to do something like you want.__________________
